Equation application plays an important role in mathematics teaching in junior high school,which is the focus of junior high school students' study,and is also the examination point of the middle school examination.For the establishment and application of equations,junior high school students generally reflect that they are not interested in this part of the content,especially the children who have just been promoted to the first grade,they are used to solve the problem with the method of arithmetic,they feel repelled and feel unnecessary to solve the problem of column equations,so they feel more difficult to solve the problem when applying equations.In view of this situation,the following work is carried out:This paper takes some students and teachers of the first grade of the fourth junior middle school in xx county as the research object to investigate and collect the data,and draws a conclusion through the collation and analysis of the data.First of all,this paper summarizes the problems encountered by the students in solving the problems with the first order equation,such as equal product problems,discount sales problems,tracing problems and engineering problems.Then we analyze the errors that students make when they do these problems.The errors are divided into six categories,namely,error in examining questions,error in setting up elements,error in equations,error in calculation,error in expression,and error in arithmetic solution.Then it analyzes the causes of these errors,including the interference of arithmetic thinking,the lack of interest in learning,the inability to understand the meaning of the question,the inability to find the equivalent relationship,the poor computing ability and the nonstandard writing and expression.Finally,aiming at the above error reasons,the corresponding teaching strategies are put forward: transforming students' thinking,cultivating students' interest,paying attention to the teaching of examining questions,cultivating the ability to find quantitative relations,strengthening calculation training,and standardizing writing.
