Critical thinking is very popular in many countries because it is necessary for talent nowadays.Training student ' s critical thinking is not only the need of nation-building but also the requirement of knowledge economics,so in our country more and more people want school to cultivate student's critical thinking.Senior High School student is the future constructer for our country and it's abstract thinking and logical thinking have proven pretty well,so cultivating senior High School student's critical thinking is necessary and able.Cultivating student's critical thinking can improve student's innovative thinking and scholastic attainment,and help student adapt to society well.In addition to this,senior High School Ideological and Political Class as an important pathway to develop student critical thinking skill can provide abundant teaching material and using suitable teaching method and doing pertinent estimate.All of this make it coming true in improving student's critical thinking.In order to research the condition of student's critical thinking,this issue use documentary method,questionnaire method,interview method.Firstly summarizing the meaning and constituents of critical thinking and misunderstanding of critical thinking.Then surveying the senior High School in Henan.Finally finding the problem and reason in cultivating student ' s critical thinking and offer the countermeasure.Through the research,we can find that teachers has many problem in improving student's critical thinking skills.For example,teachers don't think critical thinking is necessary;and teachers' critical thinking is not strong;and teachers' teaching method and estimate is simple.Meanwhile students have problems.For example students have wrong understanding to critical thinking,and students ' critical thinking is not good,and students couldn ' t use the correct learning skills.The research of these problem is many.Teachers overvalue the score of student.Teachers couldn ' t get critical thinking skills in pedagogical education.Teachers didn ' t learn pedagogy knowledge pretty well.Students didn 't know critical thinking.Students couldn 't realize the importance of critical thinking.Students couldn't use the correct learningmethod.To solve these problem need teachers and students to do things like these.Teachers should realize the importance of critical thinking.Teachers should improve critical thinking.Teachers should change estimate method.Students should realize the importance of critical thinking.Students should learn knowledge of critical thinking.Students should use different learning method.
