The new curriculum reform in our country strongly advocates that teaching should be based on people and promote the all-round development of students,especially the cultivation of various abilities and innovation.Inquiry learning is an important learning method for training talents in the new era.It has important value for deepening the reform of basic education curriculum,promoting quality education and innovation education.In order to improve the efficiency of high school biology teaching and the quality of personnel training,many schools actively implement the new curriculum reform plan,but in the specific process of carrying out inquiry learning,it is found that not all teaching processes can be smoothly implemented,and ineffective and inefficient teaching phenomena are widespread.Therefore,how to improve the effectiveness of inquiry learning in high school biology teaching has become an important issue of this paper.Taking the teaching practice of practice school as the main research object,this paper discusses how to improve the effectiveness of carrying out inquiry learning and the quality of teaching,in order to make biology teachers more comprehensive understanding of inquiry learning,so as to improve students' innovative spirit and inquiry ability in the process of practice,and cultivate more new talents in line with social requirements.First of all,the author combines social development,new curriculum requirements and high school biology teaching requirements,through the literature retrieval method to conduct in-depth research on the status quo at home and abroad,puts forward the purpose and significance of this study,and summarizes the core concepts and main theoretical basis of this study.Secondly,some students and teachers in the school are investigated by classroom observation and questionnaire survey to understand the current application of inquiry learning in senior high school biology teaching.The main reasons for the low efficiency of inquiry learning in senior high school are analyzed as follows:(1)Teachers and students do not attach great importance to the Preview task;(2)Students have low initiative in learning;(3)Teachers do not create a good learning atmosphere;(4)Teachers can not guide students scientifically;(5)Teachers do not attach importance to learning evaluation.Then,it shows that in the process of practice,inquiry learning is applied to the teaching case design of biology teaching in senior high school.The author applies inquiry learning to practice,and conducts experiments on the experimental class and the control class respectively with inquiry teaching and normal teaching,and analyzes the teaching effect from the aspects of education observation,student achievement and questionnaire.The results show that carrying out inquiry learning is conducive to the active classroom,students not only improve their academic performance,but also their learning interest,innovative spirit and exploration Research ability has also been developed.Finally,the author combined with the current problems and practical experience of the four kinds of inquiry learning respectively put forward targeted optimization strategies,hoping to contribute to the efficient development of biological inquiry learning,and look forward to the future research direction.
