With the opening of the GATS at the beginning of the 21 st century, trade in services began to take on increasing importance for those developed and developing countries as a new form of economic growth.Trade in services is represented in four modes of Supply, with "consumption abroad" being the most applied in the trade in education services, and thanks to this the receiving country of international students will be able to directly enjoy the economic growth from the exportation of this service.Currently the exports of education services consumed abroad are still dominated by the US and UK.China is the third country globally that receives more international students with almost 500,000 students in 2018,however,despite all the strategies applied to attract more international students,China continues to present deficit in this sector.By evaluating the 7Ps at the Overseas Education School of JUFE,this research will propose promotional strategies that could be applied by the Chinese government to overcome the deficit in this sector, and also allow Chinese universities,as is the case of JUFE to improve quality and to acquire a global reputation,in turn this will be of great impact to attract more international students and also more Chinese students. In this investigation it is exposed how the development of the China's abroad trade in education services has been from 2014 to 2018 which shows asymmetry of the number of students by continent, deficit of 100.93% in this period and a high number of Chinese students who represent the majority of international students in U.S,Australia and U.K.There are researches that talk about the causes of the trade deficit of China's education services consumed abroad and its possible solutions, but none of them has used the 7ps model, which in this research helped to list the causes using a sample of international students of JUFE,compare the competitive advantages with UK and finally show the promotional strategies that the Chinese government should apply to attract more foreign students.Compared to the qualities of education that UK has to attract international students,China is at a disadvantage,so after the comparative analysis,it was found that China should mainly adapt the “product” to the demand of those students who are looking for quality, and this can only be achieved if the Chinese government allows an increase in annual tuition, and creating a quality code in higher education that ensures the high training of staff to teach and serve foreign and local students.Other strategies that should be applied would be to increase promotional strategies in those continents from which China receives less students than from other continents, and to ensure that the regulations allow the students who need to sustain themselves to have part-time job.
