Wenshan Zhuang-Miao Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan Province is the origin and main origin of the precious Chinese medicine—Panax notoginseng.For students in Wenshan Zhuang-Miao Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan Province,Panax Notoginseng planting is one of their most common agricultural activities.This study makes full use of geographical advantages,taking Panax Notoginseng as curriculum resources,and taking The Compulsory Education Biology Curriculum Standard(2011)as the basis for curriculum objective,tries to develop a school-based curriculum named "Panax Notoginseng Green Cultivation ",which is designed to help students to obtain Panax Notoginseng's green cultivation knowledge,exercise students to apply what they have learned to solve practical problems in real life,establish a correct view of life,learn to live a healthy life,and enhance social responsibility.This paper through questionnaire survey to understand the teachers' attitude and recommendations on the school-based curriculum development,grasp the students' needs and interests in Panax notoginseng green cultivation in the Maguan first middleWenshan of Zhuang-Miao Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan Province.In addition,take the students of the Grade Seven,Class Sixteen of Maguan County's first junior high school as the target of Practical research on the development of school-based curriculum of "Panax Notoginseng Green Cultivation",and evaluate the entire school-based curriculum development through student achievement and interviews.This paper first studies the relevant concepts and theories of the development of the "Panax Notoginseng Green Cultivation" school-based curriculum,then analyzes the results of the questionnaire survey and the implementation of the school-based curriculum,and finally puts forward some thoughts on the implementation of the school-based curriculum.The study results show that the development and practice of school-based curriculum named "Panax Notoginseng Green Cultivation" is up to the mustard of Compulsory Education Biology Course Standard(2011).The school-based curriculum not only reached the curriculum objective and enriched the local school-based curriculum,but also highlighted the place characteristic and contributed to theformation of school characteristics.Through learning the Panax Notoginseng Green Cultivation school-based courses,students improved their interests in learning biology.Mean while,the author's curriculum awareness,curriculum development ability and professional knowledge have also been significantly improved.
