“Graphics and Geometry”is one of the four learningareas in “Compulsory Education Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2011 Edition)”,which plays a decisive role in cultivating students' thinking ability.Students in the first semester of primary school encountered many difficulties in the field of knowledge of “graphics and geometry”.The reason is that students are younger,have limited cognition,and have poor spatial concepts.Therefore,the implementation of "graphics and geometry" contextualized teaching is particularly important.This paper focuses on the situational classroom teaching cases of mathematics "graphics and geometry" fromgrade 1 to grade 3 of the five primary schools in the canal area of Cangzhou City,Cangzhou city.,through in-depth classroom observation,the author interviewed teachers and students in the teaching class,collected the teaching design and reflection of the teachers,invited the academic leaders of the school to comment on the teaching videos,and adopted the methods of literature review,questionnaire preparation,interview,etc.The characteristics and laws of situational teaching in primary school mathematics are summarized,and some problems are revealed,so as to find a situational teaching method that is more suitable for primary school students' cognitive development laws and mathematical thinking characteristics in actual teaching,help students deepen the understanding of mathematics based on their own life experience.The survey results show that the exploratory and interesting situation in mathematics teaching accords with the cognitive development rules,psychological development characteristics and existing life experiences of the students in the first semester.At present,there are mainly the following problems: the situation type is relatively simple;the lack of interest and openness;the lack of integrity and coherence;differences in usage and results;the poor participation of students.In response to these problems,three further teaching suggestions are proposed.First,continuouslyperfect "graphics and geometry" teaching situation design in combination with production and life.Second,continuously improve their professional skills,update educational concepts,and select teaching methods according to academic conditions.Third,create a fun,open,holistic and coherent teaching situation to stimulate students' interest in learning and desire to explore.
