The Application Of Evidence-based Management In Management Decision Made By Social Work Institutions

With the requirements of social governance innovation and community governance construction,China has presented unprecedented attention to the development of social work.As the most common social service organization in our daily life,social work institutions play an important role in social assistance and adjustment of social contradictions,which is an indispensable part of social governance.At present,various social work institutions in the society are developing rapidly,but it is inevitable that some management dilemmas are encountered.As a kind of advanced management concept that is more admired abroad,evidence-based management aims to combine best research evidence,manager's decision-making technology,and the client's own preferences to make the best management decisions and improve the management level of the organization.Purpose: Based on the above background,this study proposes to apply the evidence-based management concept in the management decision-making of social work institutions,designed to guide the development of social work institutions with this more advanced approach.Method: This paper mainly uses the methods of literature analysis,interview and questionnaire survey: through the literature analysis method to analyze the theoretical research and practice direction of evidence-based management,through the questionnaire survey method to investigate the status quo and needs of the management decision-making of China's social work institutions.Based on a comprehensive domestic and international research,this paper makes a feasibility analysis of the use of evidence-based management in China's social work organization management decision-making,and puts forward relevant development proposals.Result :The study found that the current social work institutions lack scientific guidance in the formulation of management decisions,and it is necessary to implement evidence-based management.At the same time,however,institutional managers generally lack awareness of evidence-based management,and the implementation of evidence-based management is facing enormous challenges.Conclusion: In order to realize the application of evidence-based management in the management decision-making of social work institutions,we should make joint efforts from the government,institutions,personnel and practice to build a good environment for the implementation of evidence-based management.
