According to the value guidance of the " Ordinary High school History Curriculum Standard" in 2017,senior middle school history teaching should enable students to form a correct understanding and interpretation about the contents of the treaties based on historical data, and gradually learn to view and analyze the impact of treaties in an comprehensive, developmental, dialectical and objective way.History teaching must help students care about the fate of the country and the development of the world from a historical point of view and help them understand how to use the knowledge of international law to safeguard the sovereignty of the country in a complex international environment.History teaching should take it as the mission to realize the national prosperity and strenghth and give full play to foster the function of "Family and country feelings".At present, many teachers begin to use the new curriculum standard for teaching, and have achieved good teaching results. However, due to various reasons, there are still some problems which make the teaching not ideal. On the basis of a thorough study of the theory of unequal treaties, this paper makes an in-depth practical investigation. The main methods are questionnaire survey and interview, supplemented by literature research and case analysis to investigate the status quo of unequal treaties in history teaching in senior high schools. At the same time, some suggestions are put forward to the existing problems.According to the results of student questionnaires, teacher interviews and case studies,it is known that the teaching of unequal treaties has achieved remarkable effects and history teachers have paid attention to the promotion and development of students' core accomplishment in history. But there are still some problems, the main manifestation is that high school teachers pay little attention to the cultivation of students' legal consciousness;insufficient attention was paid to the analysis of unequal treaties from an international perspective;not enough attention to the link between history and reality and so on.In addition, students also have some problems in the study of unequal treaties, such as lack of the understanding of relevant international practices;lack of connection between history and reality;narrow perspective on the impact of treaties;an uncompletegrasp of the contents of the treaty, etc. In response to the above problems, the author proposes the following countermeasures: relying on the treaty teaching to implement core literacy;paing attention to the new achievement to enrich the teaching connotation;integrating into the international law tocultivate the legal consciousness;Integrating into the international law and cultivate the awareness of the rule of law;learning from the past and the present to illuminate the reality with the history;being based on the international perspective to expand historical thinking;supplementing the history of revising and abolishing treaties to cultivate the feelings of family and country.
