The e-sports movement is a digital electronic product as a sports device.In a specific virtual environment,the physical and intellectual confrontation movement between people in accordance with the unified competition rules has been developed in China for more than ten years.On November 18,2003,the General Administration of Sport of China announced that e-sports has become China's 99 th official sports event.At the end of 2017,the International Olympic Committee officially certified e-sports as a formal sports event for e-sports that have long been demonized and defiled.Brought a turn.Through the rapid development from 2003 to the present,e-sports has already had a considerable number of supporters in China.The booming development of the e-sports industry has also contributed to the production of a large number of e-sports news.In the past three years,many mainstream media and portal websites such as People's Daily,China Southern,Sohu,and Tencent have set up e-sports columns.The author conducted keyword "e-sports" search on major media websites.In 2018,Xinhua.com had more than 273 news items titled "e-sports".The news of the "e-sports" theme was about 6500.For the rest,People's Daily has a total of 9,739 news articles titled “E-sports”.From the content of the report,the reports on e-sports are mostly positive and objective,and e-sports is gradually being renamed.Based on the 5W model and the attitude theory,this study uses questionnaires and in-depth interviews to explore whether e-sports news can truly affect the audience's attitudes and attitudes through data analysis and related qualitative research,and help e-sports movements be accepted by the public;Whether e-sports news will guide or even induce audience contact and indulge in e-sports games will have a negative impact on society;whether e-sports news reports need to be regulated,controlled,and the audience's views on e-sports news under different demographic characteristics.Finally,through in-depth interviews and related and regression analysis,this study found that the report of e-sports news helps the audience to change the cognition,emotion and behavior attitude of e-sports;the report of e-sports news can guide the audience to contact e-sports games,but it will not become the psychological comfort of the audience to indulge in e-sports games;the less people who know e-sports,the more they are willing to contact e-sports news;age,family and children,the understanding of e-sports,cognitive attitudes towardse-sports,and emotional attitudes towards e-sports are the main factors that influence the audience's perception of e-sports news.
