Cooperative learning meets the needs of students' development and educational reform.Despite the encouragement of schools and the efforts of teachers to innovate,the application of cooperative learning in practical teaching has only scratched the surface.Based on this,the study makes it clear that cooperative learning is a group formed by heterogeneous grouping of 4-5 students as a teaching organization under the class teaching system.On the premise of basic teaching organization in biology class of junior middle school,cooperative learning group of students is the driving force to fully reflect the subjectivity of students in class teaching.Then combined with the local educational characteristics of the Tibetan areas in the region,based on the basic concepts and objectives of the curriculum in the new curriculum standard as the guiding ideology,the practical teaching and learning situation of the school is studied,and the application of cooperative learning in biology classroom teaching in junior middle school is carried out.Firstly,by consulting relevant literature,this paper analyzes the connotation basis of cooperative learning and the development status of domestic and foreign research,as well as the relevant theories in the research,and provides references for the implementation of this research.Secondly,questionnaire survey method and self-classroom observation method are used to understand the implementation status of group cooperative learning in biology classroom teaching in junior high school,and problems are found and analyzed from teachers' and students' perspectives,so as to provide factual basis for problem analysis and improvement in the research.Then,according to the theory and connotation of cooperative learning,combined with the problems and causes analyzed in the current situation survey,the implementation strategies of group cooperative learning were formulated,which included scientific division of groups,cultivation of cooperative skills,selection of appropriate contents and establishment of evaluation mechanism.The practical research was carried out for a semester,and finally,tests and questionnaires were used for evaluation.Through a semester of the practical teaching application found: in junior middle school biology classroom teaching to carry out the cooperative learning group to consider student's actual learning,combining with school characteristics to choose theappropriate strategy,to step by step,encouraging students to participate in a timely manner to guide and help,positive evaluation and rewards are helpful to improve the students' interest in learning,motivate students into group cooperative learning activities actively,in an atmosphere of positive interdependence,competition,cooperation,and complete the study task.The results of practice show that group cooperative learning is conducive to the improvement of students' interest in learning,and can cultivate students' ability of communication,communication,cooperation and mutual assistance,as well as their sense of responsibility and collective sense of honor,and improve their competence.
