Recent years,in order to improve the quality of undergraduate teaching materials and give full play to the basic role of teaching materials in improving the quality of talent training,the reform and construction of teaching materials in universities has become one of the important focus of educational policy.Under the background of‘Teachers Become Researchers',universities are urged to set up a compulsory course‘Methods of Research in(Preschool)Education' to cultivate and develop the educational and scientific literacy of preschool teachers,and to lay a good foundation for the realization of post-service professional development.But in the course,the teaching of experimental method is gradually marginalized,thus,students do not pay much attention to it and the learning effect is low.At present,education and teaching have entered the stage of deepening reform,which requires a lot of educational experiments.The research focuses on the chapter of experiment of teaching materials,which will be helpful to improve the quality of curriculum,promote the development of educational experiments and cultivate students' scientific spirit.The research guided by the concept of total quality,taking students as the subject of evaluation,used content analysis and interview to carry out comprehensive and in-depth analysis and research,including comparative analysis,trend analysis and quality analysis,on the teaching material of ‘Methods of Research in Preschool Education'(mainly focus on experiment)from two dimensions of static text and dynamic use respectively.Research findings: as far as the teaching material as a whole is concerned,the development speed is relatively slow,the development force is relatively weak,and the overall quality level is on the low side.As far as the static text of teaching metarials in experiment is concerned,the core content of knowledge structure tends to be consistent but too concentrated.In content selection,the four core knowledge unitstake simple basic knowledge as the main content and the content is relatively monotonous,not rich,comprehensive and in-depth.In writing style,the number and quality of columns need to be improved.In the chart system,the number of charts is small and there are great differences between different teaching materials.The types of illustrations are mainly pattern diagrams and result diagrams,the tables are mainly non-data-based tables,and the data-based tables do not appear again after 1998.Examples and cases are often confused,mainly domestic,simple and short,the number is less,the age is longer,the distribution is more concentrated and the research topic does not reflect the current preschool research hot spot.As far as the dynamic use of teaching materials is concerned,students' dissatisfaction with the teaching materials exceeded their satisfaction,mainly manifested in which the content is not comprehensive,rich and in-depth;the number of cases and examples is scarce and the quality is low;the number of charts is small;the content visualization level is low,etc.In terms of learning results,more than half of the students felt that educational experiments are beyond reach and have a relatively negative understanding of educational experiments.At the same time,all the students said that their study is still not comprehensive,in-depth,specific and expressed their expectations in the textbook compilation logic,content selection and presentation as well as teaching methods.
