Research On The Communication Status And Effect Of Chinese TV Drama Dissemination Among Myanmar Students In Kunming University

In recent years,with the rapid development of network mobile communication technology and the full use of computers and mobile phones among Myanmar international students,it is becoming more and more convenient for Myanmar international students to watch Chinese TV dramas.From the late 1990 s to the beginning of the 21 st century,Myanmar National TV introduced Chinese TV series one after another.At the same time,Myanmar's private audio-visual market rented and sold Chinese TV series CDs and other audio-visual products in large quantities(now gradually disappearing).Most Burmese students have been exposed to Chinese TV dramas since they were young.Compared with TV dramas in other European and American countries,they have a more cultural proximity and obvious intimacy.TV dramas are one of the important carriers of popular culture.According to the author's survey,Burmese students studying in China prefer to watch Chinese TV dramas in an easy and entertaining way to learn Chinese and understand Chinese history and culture.In 2013,General Secretary Xi Jinping proposed the “Belt and Road” initiative,the first Lancang-Mekong cooperation between China and Myanmar in 2016,and by2020 General Secretary Xi Jinping visited Myanmar on the 70 th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Myanmar.It is currently the most friendly period between China and Myanmar.The exchanges between the two countries have gradually increased and the ways of cooperation have become more diverse.In recent years,because of the convenience and low cost of broadcasting,TV dramas are easier to spread than movies and realize the positive construction of China's image.From the perspective of cultural exchanges between China and Myanmar,Chinese TV dramas are an important bridge to build cultural exchanges between the two countries,and Myanmar students studying abroad are an effective intermediary for the spread of Chinese TV dramas to Myanmar.As Myanmar intellectuals,Myanmar students studying abroad play a decisive role in the future development of Myanmar.Since the subject of this study involves the culture of China and Myanmar,this article will examine the status and effect of the spread of Chinese TV dramas among Myanmar students from the perspective of cross-cultural communication.This article studies Myanmar students by way of questionnaire,focus group and interview.The content of the research mainly includes the following aspects: Chapter One is based on the geographical proximity,cultural connectivity and political,economic,and cultural exchanges between China and Myanmar.The psychological motivation of Myanmar students watching Chinese TV dramas is to sort out Chinese TV dramas in Myanmar.The foundation of cross-cultural communication among international students;Chapter 2 analyzes the selection and introduction of research schools and analyzes the propagation of Chinese TV dramas among Myanmar students from seven aspects;Chapter 3 recognizes the recognition of Chinese TV dramas by Myanmar students,The three aspects of attitude and behavior are combined with research methods to analyze the effect of Chinese TV dramas spreading among Burmese students;Chapter 4 is based on some revelations from the author's research on the spread of Chinese TV dramas among Burmese students,such as: Improve the spread of Chinese TV dramas and expand the audience of Myanmar;strengthen the cultural exchanges between China and Myanmar in film and television,and build China's national image.The whole study is carried out around these parts.
