Normal colleges played an important role in the normal education system of our country and made great contributions to the development of our country's education.With the development of higher education and teacher education,normal colleges are facing existential crisis,such as the seriously reducing about the quality of students,difficult to guarantee about the quality of teaching,and the problem of employment.In order to copy with the crisis and challenges,normal colleges must realize the transformation and development to take the road of maintaining the characteristics of teacher education applied development.In this study,five representative normal colleges in Liaoning province were selected as cases,and data and information were collected through research methods such as education document analysis,literature inquiry,questionnaires,and interviews to find the difficulties and problems in the development of case schools.Based on the theory of triangle coordination,multiple intelligence theory and differentiated development theory,this research adapts to the needs of external social development and internal development of normal colleges.By changing the concept of school management,accurately positioning,adjusting the professional structure,improving the quality of personnel training,and strengthening the construction of teachers,we can build school characteristics and serve the social and regional economic construction.This paper proposes the transformation and development strategy of case schools,and combines the successful experience of professionals' education development in Japan and Taiwan to explore the specific approaches to transformation and development of case schools.This paper includes five chapters as follows: the first is an introduction,presents the research background about why this topic is raised,the significance of the subject,literature reviews and research methods and thoughts.The second part is about the theoretical basis and analyzes the connotation of the transformation of colleges.The third chapter is the analysis of the special situation of the case colleges.Through the questionnaire survey of students and interviews with teachers,relevant materials are collected and sorted out to summarize some problems existing in the development of the case colleges.The fourth part is about the practical needs of the transformationof the case colleges,and analyzes the internal needs of the transformation and development of the case colleges,so as to solve the problems of serious decline in quality of students,the difficulty in guaranteeing the quality of teaching,the pressure on the employment of graduates,as well as the external needs of policies,social and economic development and local services.In the last part,the author analyzes the strategies of the transformation of the case colleges and introduces and analyzes the experience of teacher education reform in Japan and Taiwan,and then explores the specific ways of the transformation of the case colleges.
