China's "Biology Curriculum Standards for Senior High Schools"(draft for comments)puts forward the basic requirements for the implementation of biology curriculum in senior high schools with the aim of cultivating students' core literacy.Life concept and rational thinking,as the core accomplishment of biology,play an important role in improving the effectiveness and quality of education.Systematological approach has some related concepts,such as that the whole is greater than the sum of parts,and that an orderly and open dynamic system can achieve optimization.These concepts coincide with the "general concept" and "life concept" proposed in the new curriculum standard.By using the system theory method,we can give full play to the effective role of every link in educational activities,let students use the system theory method to construct knowledge,and highlight the need of biological concept for students to adapt to social development and personal life.Based on the literature analysis and practical investigation,guided by the theories of constructivism,Bloom's hierarchical cognitive structure and Pilian's teaching system,this paper carries out the research on the cultivation of students' biological life concepts(general concepts)in the teaching of biology in senior high school by using the systematic approach.Questionnaires and interviews with senior high school biology teachers show that teachers do not have a clear understanding of what is life concept and concept;they do not know what strategies to use in forming students' biology concept,and they have no in-depth understanding of the thinking method of system theory;they lack the corresponding training teaching method of systematic thinking,and students only rely on teachers in the process of learning biology subject,but not on themselves.Systematically,it is impossible to form its own knowledge network.Teachers in class must be arbitrary,there is no systematic teaching plan,strategy.Based on the existing problems in the investigation,this paper,from the perspective of system theory,analyses the systematic characteristics of the contents of molecular and cell modules,and puts forward the systematic lesson preparation strategies for cultivating students' biological life concept and forming biological outline through the teaching of system theory: making a good overall plan for the teaching of molecular and cell modules,andclarifying the teaching of molecular and cell modules.The hierarchy of learning pays attention to the openness of module teaching of molecules and cells,and the design of dynamic module knowledge system.According to the general process system model of Pillansen's knowledge,method and skill teaching,we formulate systematic strategies for class: drawing attention and informing,introducing strategies;prompting students to recall original knowledge;presenting organized information to guide students to understand applied knowledge;establishing links between new and old knowledge,constructing new thinking map;eliciting students' response,providing feedback and correction;The situation of skill application,consolidation and inspection of knowledge;man-machine integration,modern education and information technology for classroom teaching;the orderly combination of various teaching strategies to build the best classroom system.Taking the teaching of cell respiration as an example,this paper demonstrates the application of system theory in teaching.By comparing the four classes of the author in six parallel classes,the teaching effect is better.In comparison with other schools,the author's parallel class teaching effect is also better.It shows that the teaching method of system theory has certain effect.The research can provide reference for senior high school biology teaching.In the future,the author will not only study the system theory for improving students' performance,but also study the system theory methods for improving students' thinking ability,forming biological concepts,scientific inquiry ability,improving students' sense of achievement in biology learning,improving students' interest in biology learning,and so on,so as to form more research results in the application of the system theory method to teaching results. |
