Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,our country has paid more and more attention to the key role of the ideological and political theory course in colleges and universities,and constantly emphasized the importance of it,which is related to the future and development of the country.On different occasions,comrade Xi Jinping asked colleges and universities to be concerned about strengthening the construction of the courses,keep pace with the times,strive to promote the reform of them,innovate and develop the effectiveness of classroom teaching,and make the effectiveness of ideological and political theory courses match the status given by the state.However,over a long time,for the ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities,the way is simple;the method is old;and the effect is not ideal.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to explore the effectiveness of the course from the perspective of national and social development.Insisting on student-centered,the paper explores the teaching effective methods of the course in the new era from the aspects of textbook pertinence,classroom teaching ability,course attraction,assessment methods and so on.By means of them,the paper tries to cultivate students' new cognition of ideological and political theory course,and make the teaching effect of the course in colleges and universities take on a new look.This paper mainly includes the following parts:The first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the research background,purpose and significance of this paper,explains the current status and illustrates research ideas and methods of this paper.The second part is an overview of the meaning of the current ideological and political theory teaching effectiveness,focusing on the meaning and the significance of improving the relevant effectiveness.The third part is a questionnaire survey on the current situation of the effectiveness of ideological and political theory teaching in colleges and universities.The fourth part is the current performance and cause analysis of the lack of effectiveness for the course.Combined with the results of the early investigation,find out the performance of insufficient teaching effectiveness and focus on the analysis of the causes.The fifth part is to optimize the strategies to improve the effectiveness of ideological and political theory teaching in colleges and universities,focusing on the following aspects: enhancing the pertinence of the contents of the teaching materials,improving the professional quality and the teaching ability of teachers,innovating teaching methods to improve the course absorption,setting scientifically the assessment methods that students are willing to accept,and optimizing reasonably the social environment of ideological and political education.From the above aspects,put forward suggestions to improve the effectiveness of ideological and political theory teaching in colleges and universities.
