Community education,as an important part of lifelong education system,is developing rapidly.Promoting the professional development of community education teachers becomes the inevitable persuit for community education development.However,the current research on the professional development of community education teachers is mainly focused on the group of full-time teachers engaged in community management.There is a lack of research on part-time teachers and volunteer teacher groups who are mainly engaged in community teaching,and a lack of empirical research.Clarifying the teaching competence that community education teachers need is essential to improving the quality of community teaching and promoting the professional development of community teachers.Therefore,this study focuses on the basic research area of "community education teachers' teaching competence model".On the basis of the relevant research,this study creatively used the "mixed research" method to collect data for the teaching competence model to be constructed and verified.Firstly,based on literature review and research design,I used critical incidents technique to interview 24 excellent community teachers and 2 community school principals,and used the grounded theory coding method to analyze and code the 280,000 words of interview materials.Then I built the theoretical framework of community education teacher's teaching competence model.Secondly,I designed the questionnaire to collect data.349 valid samples were received.And then project analysis and confirmatory factor analysis were carried out to test the fitness of the model.After adjusting the indicators,I found the teaching competnce model of community education teachers is composed of 3 elements(knowledge,skills and affection),6 dimensions(knowledge,teaching design and development,teaching implementation and management,personality,professional attitude and career pursuit)and 26 indicators.And all the fitness indexes of the model meet the standard requirements.The teaching competence model has good adaptability.Finally,the study proposed the overall development strategy of the community education teachers' teaching competence.This research mainly has the following three aspects of innovation: First,the research topic is innovative.This research focuses on exploring the elements of community education teachers' teaching competence.The research group includes full-time teachers,part-time teachers and volunteer teachers engaged in community teaching activities,which expands the scope of the research group in the research topic of community education teachers;The second is the innovativeness of the research method.This research spent a lot of energy and creatively used the "mixed research" method to conduct empirical research on community education teachers' teaching competence model,which makes up for the lack of empirical research in this research field.The third is the innovativeness of the research results.The teaching competence model constructed in this study is a multi-dimensional structure model,which is dynamic,systematic,and scientific.It comprehensively and systematically reveals the teaching competence that community education teachers need.It will provide theoretical references and practical guidance for the drafting of community teachers' professional development strategies and the management of community teachers.
