Volleyball is a compulsory course for students majoring in physical education in colleges and universities.as a compulsory course,its teaching effect is not only related to learners' mastery of skills and movements,but also affects the results of the final examination.what's more,it is related to students' reserve of volleyball knowledge and skills,and affects their job-hunting and post-work teaching.Teaching method is an important part of the teaching process,which is the general name of the methods and means adopted by teachers and students to achieve teaching goals and complete teaching tasks.In the process of school education,it is a matter of concern that how to use effective teaching methods and means to improve the teaching quality of the general volleyball course of physical education majors in colleges and universities and achieve the teaching goal effectively.With the continuous progress of science and technology,the increasing maturity of network technology and the emergence of mobile communication equipment,smart phones have become a necessity for college students' daily life,study and entertainment.The way for college students to obtain online learning information is no longer limited to computers,tablets and other media devices,smart phones have also become the media for them to obtain learning information.Smart phones have the characteristics of small size,portable and fast connection between wireless and mobile networks,which provide convenience for users to obtain network learning resources and up-to-date knowledge and information anytime and anywhere.From the point of view of the new media "smart phone" assisted teaching,this paper adopts the research methods of literature,expert interview,questionnaire,teaching experiment,mathematical statistics,logical analysis and so on.Hebei normal University physical Education College 2017 sports training majors as the investigation object to carry out experimental research.In the process of teaching experiment,on the basis of traditional teaching methods,the experimental group uses smart phones to assist teaching,while the control group still adopts the traditional way of teaching.At the end of the 16-week teaching experiment,a questionnaire survey was conducted on the students' interest in learning volleyball,the ability of autonomous learning,the satisfaction with the teaching methods of volleyball courses and the feedback on the learning effect of smartphone-assisted instruction.The physical fitness of the students and the mastery of basic volleyball skills were tested.By comparing the data of the questionnaires and skill tests filled in by the two groups of students,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)There is no difference between the influence of smartphone-assisted volleyball teaching on the improvement of students' physical quality and the traditional teaching methods.After the end of experimental teaching,there was no significant difference in the physical fitness test data between the experimental group and the control group(p>0.05).(2)In the experimental group,the improvement of students' interest in learning volleyball,autonomous learning ability,learning self-confidence and defensive and offensive consciousness in the field was better than that in the control group which adopted the traditional teaching method.After the experiment,by analyzing the questionnaires filled out by the subjects,it was found that there were significant differences in learning interest,autonomous learning ability and self-confidence between the experimental group and the control group(p<0.05).(3)As an auxiliary teaching means,smart phone is applied to the teaching of general volleyball course,which helps to improve students' understanding and mastery of various technical movements,and its teaching effect is better than that of traditional teaching methods.After the end of the teaching experiment,there were significant differences in passing and dribbling skills between the girls in the experimental group and the control group(p<0.05),although there was no significant difference in spiking and serving skills(p>0.05),But the performance of the students in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group.Compared with the control group,there were significant differences in the technical evaluation scores of passing,spiking and spiking between the male class of the experimental group and the control group(p<0.05),and there was a slight difference in the technical evaluation test results of serving skills between the male class of the experimental group and the male class of the control group.(4)The influence of smartphone-assisted instruction on improving students' volleyball skills has no obvious advantage compared with traditional teaching methods.After the experiment,there was no significant difference in the achievement of basic volleyball skills between the boys' and girls' classes with smartphone-assisted instruction and the students in the boys' and girls' classes with traditional teaching methods(p>0.05).(5)The way of smartphone-assisted teaching has built a good communication and exchange platform for teachers and students,promoted the establishment of a harmonious relationship between the two sides,and realized the formation of democratic teacher-student relationship.(6)As an auxiliary teaching means,smart phone is applied to volleyball teaching.With its own advantages,it adapts to the development trend of the times and meets the needs of students' personality and psychological development.Students recognize and accept it.The results of the questionnaire after the teaching experiment show that 94.1% of the students in the experimental group are satisfied with the teaching methods,evaluation methods and feedback forms adopted by the teachers in the course of learning.
