The concept of physics is the foundation and an important part of the knowledge system of the subject;in teaching,the teaching of physical concepts is also very important.The current concept teaching method is still based on traditional teaching.The students' learning methods are mainly mechanical reciting and sea tactics.The current teaching methods have both advantages and disadvantages.Since the new high exam point in 2017,physics has become a research hotspot;candidates evade physics in the selection of knowledge,the most fundamental reason is that physics is “difficult to teach and difficult to learn”;inquiry-based teaching aims to change traditional teaching methods,stimulate students' interest,and cultivate scientific inquiry spirit.In this context,this paper studies the application of inquiry teaching in concept teaching.In this paper,the research methods are literature method,questionnaire survey method and case analysis method.This paper studies from the following three aspects:1.Questionnaires were used to investigate the learning situation of high school students.The survey object was the high school students of the author's internship school.The questionnaire mainly includes five aspects.The results show that most students think that physics is useful for life,but due to the physics is too abstract,students are difficult to understand and not interested in physics;most students think that the concept class is important,and teachers have inquiry shadow in the way of teaching.In terms of teaching methods,students prefer teachers to use modern teaching techniques.There are still some students who are not satisfied with the current concept teaching methods,prefer to cooperate to solve questions.More than half of the students are silent in the classroom,the participation in learning is not enough,Students' learn are still passive,the development of inquiry teaching is very necessary.However,students are very looking forward to the change of teaching methods and are interested in the development of inquiry teaching.2.Combining the concepts of high school physical mechanics and through the problems were found in the questionnaire survey,specific steps are proposed for the implementation of inquiry-based teaching in the concept class.The inquiry-based teaching is the result of the cooperation between teachers and students.According to the seven elements of the scientific exploration of the new curriculum standard,the inquiry process is divided into the following seven steps: Asking Questions-Conjectures and Assumptions-Developing Plans and Designs-Conducting Experiments and Data Collection – analysis and demonstration-Assessments-Communication and Collaboration,and Further Considerations for Teacher and Student Activities in the Step Summarize and provide some suggestions for teachers and students to conduct inquiry activities;3.Using the case analysis method,the related concepts of the mechanics part are analyzed,and the following three exploration processes are listed according to the specific inquiry topics: acceleration,friction,resultant force and component force.Taking this as an example,the author carried out teaching practice in the internship school.After one semester of practice,the questionnaire was used to test the effect of the teaching.The results showed that the students were learning after one semester of inquiry-based teaching.,interest,attitude and other aspects have been improved,and the effectiveness of inquiry-based teaching is more significant.
