The level of graduate dissertation is a direct reflection of the quality of graduate education.We must attach great importance to ensuring the quality of graduate dissertation graduate education.However,with the continuous expansion of the scale of graduate education,there has been a contradiction between scale and quality of graduate dissertation,and the overall quality has shown a downward trend.This phenomenon has aroused widespread concern and debate in society.In order to ensure the quality of talent training,H University has formulated the "Administrative Measures for the Evaluation of Graduate Thesis of H University" in 2019.H University no longer conducts spot checks on dissertations,but all double-blind review.This approach more objectively and comprehensively reflects the status quo of the quality of graduate dissertation.Therefore,this study hopes to improve the quality of graduate education in China and promote the development of graduate education by revealing the quality of graduate degree dissertations,analyzing the causes of problems and proposing quality improvement strategies.In this study,first introduced the situation of double-blind review of graduate degree thesis of H University.Introduced the implementation procedures,evaluation standards and positive effects of double-blind review.Afterwards took H University as the research object,collected 3545 double-blind review evaluations from 1,720 graduate students of H University in 2019.Comprehensived analysis from two aspects: overall quality and item quality.Then use the content analysis method to extract the typical characteristics of 6 unqualified papers and 4 from the expert comments.Then use the content analysis method to extract 6 typical characteristics of unqualified papers and 4 typical characteristics of excellent papers from the expert comments.Revealed the quality status and existing problems of H University's degree thesis.Second,further explore the reasons for these phenomena,and explore the main factors affecting the quality of the dissertation.Methods a questionnaire survey was conducted among 366 students of H University.Data were analyzed by factor analysis,correlation analysis and regression analysis with SPSS software.It is concluded that the factors influencing the quality of a dissertation are from large to small: student's attitude and basic skills,tutor's guidance,school management systems,scientific research conditions,and students quality.Finally,according to the analysis of the present situation and the questionnaire analysis of graduation thesis of H University,the following suggestions are made from the viewpoints of school,tutor and student: School should and improve the management system and the conditions of scientific research,create an academic atmosphere.Tutors should improve their ability of scientific research and strengthen the whole process of paper guidance.Students should have a correct learning attitude and improve academic ability.
