Ancient poetry teaching is an important part of primary school Chinese teaching,and also an important way to cultivate students' Chinese literacy.As a visual thinking tool,mind map helps learners to sort out knowledge points and plays a positive role in the teaching of ancient poetry.Therefore,the purpose of this paper is to apply mind map to the teaching of ancient Chinese poetry in primary schools,design the application strategy of mind map in the teaching of ancient Chinese poetry,and test the effectiveness of its teaching strategy in the actual teaching cases.Through literature survey,questionnaire,interview and other methods to obtain data,this study analyzes the current situation of learners' learning ancient poetry teaching,the application of mind map in ancient poetry teaching,as well as the existing problems.This paper focuses on the text of Chinese teaching materials,combined with the characteristics of learners,according to the classification of the themes of ancient poetry,selects more landscape poems as sample cases to design teaching strategies.Through literature review and communication with the first-line excellent Chinese teachers,it is concluded that students need to master the three aspects of memorization,interpretation and appreciation at this stage,and for each part of the content,the author designs the strategies of memory-deductive divergence,interpretation-free association and appreciation-inductive aggregation.Among them,"memory-deductive divergence strategy" mainly emphasizes the recognition and discrimination of new words as well as the introduction of the author's background;"interpretation-free association strategy" focuses on drawing the mind map through free association to help students understand the meaning of ancient poetry;"appreciation-inductive aggregation strategy" focuses on the induction of expression techniques and images in ancient poetry and helps learners better understand the feelings expressed by the author.In the actual teaching process,teachers communicate with students through wechat group and QQ group,display students' works through the network platform,assist students to learn ancient poetry better with the help of mind map app,and test the teaching effect according to the learners' performance in class,drawing the quality of works,and pre-test and post test results.After practice,the following conclusions are drawn: the teaching strategy of mind map assisted Chinese ancient poetry in senior primary school is conducive to stimulate learners' interest in learning ancient poetry,develop students' imagination,help students appreciate ancient poetry,and transfer knowledge points to relevant knowledge.Mind mapping can improve the level of students' work drawing and their participation in class,and improve their academic performance.
