Since September 2019,the Chinese curriculum in every grade of primary school in china has been compiled by the ministry of education.In order to improve students' reading efficiency,enhance their interest in reading after class and meet the needs of individualized cultivation,the author investigates the local implementation path of American reading workshop.This paper consists of six parts.Firstly,the main content incorporates the reasons,the aim,the significance and problems hoping to be work out.In addition,also clarifies the research object and important concepts,and points out the research ideas and methods.The third part expounds the theoretical basis of this study from three aspects: reading literacy and reading psychological process,cooperative learning principle and multiple intelligences theory.The next part is the investigation of the current reading situation of the primary school students,which mainly expounds the design ideas,implementation process and result analysis of the survey,in order to understand the students' reading habits and learning needs through the field and targeted investigation.The fifth part is the train of thought and process of school-based curriculum development,the content of school-based curriculum,curriculum implementation and other three aspects to explain the school-based reading program.The last part is the implementation case of the school-based reading program,showing the implementation process of a reading class completely,and according to the lessons on reflection,summing up the development experience.This study studies the teaching scheme,teaching process and teaching evaluation of reading workshop,and makes a systematic analysis of the influencing factors in the design of reading workshop,so as to promote the perfection and development of Chinese reading workshop teaching in primary school.The research shows that the reading course with reading workshop as the teaching mode has the characteristics of adaptability,autonomy and continuity,and fits the students' learning psychology verywell,which effectively improves the students' classroom concentration,and the students are generally willing to accept this kind of classroom mode.This study attempts the international reading teaching model,which is the innovation of this paper.The practice of this kind of reading teaching mode in our country is still few and the development is less mature.Therefore,the effective operation adopted in this study provides a reference for the development of this course in his school,and has certain practical significance.In addition,due to the classroom environment,some classroom groups cooperate with a large number of people,resulting in the efficiency of student cooperation is affected,no further supplementary study was done due to the study time limit.
