Continuing education in the university origins from mid-nineteenth century and has developed for about two hundreds years.Universities all reach a highly agreement that to serve the society in continuing education of university and expand university resources in social serve.At the period of the fourth industrial revolution triggering by fifth generation wireless systems and block chain,ehange of knowledge and technology quicken a lot,so innovation and integration ability become essential.Receiving post-formal school continuing education is an appeal for modern civilians.As source of spreading knowledge,non-academic continuing education meeting the demand of era in the university becomes an effective approach to release universities' basic function.Because of geographic factors,social-historical factors and national policy,non-academic continuing education shows difference in the process of continuing education transition.According with the special require of regional universities,the thesis is form from practical situation to implement non-academic continuing education in the university of shanxi province,and it is composed of five parts.The first part is introduction,and includes research background,research goal,research value,domestic and overseas research trends,research idea and method.The second part involves relative notions and basic theories.notions includes continuing education,non-academic continuing education and non-academic continuing education in the university;the basic theory includes theory of lifelong learning,learning society,stock of human capital and organizational reform.The third part mainly analyze the opportunity and challenge of our country's non-academic continuing education in the university.Opportunities refer to the need to unscale continuing education,the urgence of population structure change,the demand of talent cultivation to the strategy Made in China 2025,the spreading of lifelong education concept;challenges are fierce competition of market,the difficult of policy faultiness,the conflict of unscale demand between supply.The fourth part firstly introduce the general situation of universities in shanxi province,then I use investigation to undergraduate universities,status quo of non-academic continuing education.Next,this part concludes six questions:unclear localization of universities to non-academic continuing education,ambiguity between power and duties causing by unseparated management and running,inefficient integration of resources,unbalance structure of faculty,Project development lacking depth and nonflexible teaching form,imperfection of detection system and environment.The fifth part draws the excellent experience of world-class universities with non-academic continuing education in university,and focus on lifting strategic position,optimizing internal management framework,strengthening integration of inside and outside school resources,laying emphasis on teaching staff construction,developing projects by scientific research and complete quality detection system.
