Time management is a kind of behavior tendency of people which has high stability.As a dynamic characteristic of personality,it will affect people's all aspects of life.Academic burnout refers to the fact that under the long-term academic pressure,students may start to withdraw or do not want to devote energies to their studies.In the end,it will lead to the exhaustion of physical,emotional,and attitude,alienation of teachers and students.These students obviously feel inefficient and sense of low-achievement.Studies have confirmed that time management can effectively predict academic burnout in other aspects.Therefore,it has great practical significance to discuss how to improve the time management and reduce the academic burnout of senior high school students.This study will explore the relationship between the two and the influence of targeted group counseling on time management and academic burnout of senior high school students.This study is divided into two parts: Study 1,Selecting 760 students as subjects in a senior high school to conduct a questionnaire survey by cluster sampling method and analyzing the current situation and relationship between the time management and academic burnout of senior high school students;Research 2: Design the group counseling programs and use group counseling to improve the level of time management of senior high school students,so as to reduce their level of academic burnout.The experimental group(36 students),placebo group(36 students)and control group(36 students)were used for comparative experiments,and the experimental group was given 8 times of targeted group psychological counseling.The placebo group was given 8 times of non-targeted group psychological counseling.The control group did not apply any treatment.The results are as follows: Research 1 shows that the time management of senior high school students is significantly affected by their location of family,gender,grade and whether they are cadres of class or not.Academic burnout is significantly affected by gender,grade and whether they are cadres of class or not.Time management and its dimensions are significantly negatively correlated with academic burnout,and time management has a certain negative predictive effect on academic burnout.Research 2 shows that targeted group counseling can significantly improve the time management of senior high school students and reduce their academic burnout.
