| Education is nothing but a role model.Since ancient times,role models have played an indispensable role as a mirror of people's self-interest.Chinese textbooks in primary schools not only bear the task of disseminating knowledge,but also the function of educating people.The character image is the most vivid and vivid representative of the Chinese textbooks in primary schools,therefore,for the primary school students who are in the critical stage of physical and mental development,the characters in the primary school language textbooks,especially the role models,greatly affect the formation of their emotions,attitudes and values.Therefore,it is necessary to study the role models in the Chinese textbooks of the primary school.This study uses text analysis and statistical analysis to systematically sort out the distribution,characteristics and shaping of role models in the Chinese textbooks of primary schools.The study found that the grade distribution of the number of role models showed a tendency to fluctuate with the increase of grade levels,that the role models of different categories of purposes had their own emphasis on the distribution of different grades,that the role models were the most in narratives and novels,and that the role models were the least in the discourse and poetry.The demographic characteristics of role models are characterized by male role models more than female role models,more adult role models than child role models,more ancient role models than modern and contemporary role models,Chinese role models more than foreign role models,Han role models more than ethnic minority role models,careers of students,political leaders and so on.Moral quality characteristics are rich and show irregular distribution with grade changes,female role models are based on "trust" and "enthusiasm",while male role models embody many moral quality characteristics,and "intelligence" and "dedication" appear the most frequently.The presentation of role models is dominated by non-separate and direct presentation,and the presentation form is based on the combination of graphic text,and the description is characterized by such positive descriptions as appearance,language,action and psychology,as well as side descriptions such as character contrast and environment.It can be seen that the role model characters in the Chinese textbooks of the primary school are relatively evenly distributed,have high degree of character recognition and are more diverse inshaping.Based on this,it is suggested to further improve the distribution of role models in textbooks,optimize the characteristics of role models,and improve the shaping of role models. |
