Based on the proposition characteristics of Jiangsu college entrance examination composition test(Chinese subject)and the feedbacks on scoring in recent years,it can be safely concluded that narratives which receive high marks tend to be those with original designs,highlighted personalities of characters,true feelings and rich cultural atmospheres.The “object image” plays a great role in the description of characters,the development of plots and the expression of themes.If the element of “object image” can be added to and used properly in students' narratives,the readability will be greatly improved.Therefore,the author focuses on the study of image object writing in narration,making it a good strategy to improve students' writing level.The thesis consists of three parts.In the first part(Introduction),the author provides an overview of the research,including the background,the purpose and significance of the study,the definition of related concepts,the researching actuality and the research process and methods.The second part,as the focus of the thesis,is composed of three chapters,namely,Chapter Two,Three and Four.Chapter Two specifies the three major basic theories of object image writing in narratives while Chapter Three clarifies the methods and contents of object image writing.Chapter Four,which is the core of the whole study,systematically guides object image writing in narratives.It is divided into several stages----“accumulating materials of object images”,“thinking training of associating objects with ideas”,“thinking training of seeking proper objects based on ideas”,“thinking training of composing articles using object images” and “expounding the theme by depicting object images”.In the third part,Chapter Five,the author provides feedback data relevant to object image writing teaching,and then summarizes and analyzes it to provide new directions and improvement measures for later research.To carry out the research,document analysis method is adopted.The author first reads a large number of relevant materials to have a comprehensive understanding of “object image” and “object image writing”,and then conducts detailed induction and sorting.Besides,using theories concerning “teaching of daily life narration”,the author guides students to observe life and describe object images.What's more,with the aid of “mind maps” in “creative writing”,the author systematically trains students in determining themes,selecting images and organizing articles.
