With the development of The Times, the requirements for talent cultivation in today's society are higher and higher, and STEAM education concept has emerged as the times require.STEAM education concept originated in the United States, and in recent years,it has set off a wave of educational reform around the world.STEAM education is a comprehensive education that integrates science, etc. It is an attempt and reflection on the interdisciplinary integration and put into teaching practice. At the same time, science education in primary schools has gradually received more attention, and the teaching mode has been reorganized and innovated constantly.Meanwhile, creativity has also attracted attention of scholars.Due to the late establishment of primary school science curricula in China, there is still a big gap with the development of primary school science education in other countries. In the Nine-year Compulsory Education Primary School Science Curriculum Standards(Ministry of Education,2017),interdisciplinary learning is also advocated, especially emphasizing the importance of "learning by doing" in education doctrine. The idea of interdisciplinary learning in the Standards is very consistent with STEAM education concept. Therefore, based on the analysis of relevant materials of STEAM education concept, based on the constructivism concept,I designed the primary school science teaching design integrated with STEAM concept, breaking the traditional primary school science teaching mode, and proposing the primary school science teaching design method from the perspective of STEAM.In the process of teaching design, the interdisciplinary teaching objectives are set by integrating STEAM.Using quasi-experimental method, the author selects two similar classes in parallel classes of the same grade for experiment and controls the irrelevant variables..In order to test the effect of the integration of STEAM ideas into the science curriculum on the improvement of students' creativity, the curriculum design was combined with specific practical cases according to the teaching design.I used a quasi-experimental approach to selected a natural class as the experimental group, and another natural class of the same grade as the control group, carried out the teaching practice of science course from the perspective of STEAM in the experimental class, and controlled the irrelevant variables.Based on the analysis of the experimental data, integrated into the STEAMeducation concept of primary school science teaching for the cultivation of students' creativity and the improvement of scientific literacy have obvious effect, including the adventure, curiosity, imagination and challenging multiple dimensions, such as learning interests, teamwork, learning methods and expression skills have also improved. The teaching design integrated with STEAM education concept has enriches the teaching methods of science in primary schools and provides new ideas for the teaching design of science in primary schools to a certain extent. This study is an attempt to cultivate creativity. The cultivation of students' creativity also conforms to the requirements of the new curriculum Standards and the needs of talent cultivation. It is a new exploration of the development of primary school science education by STEAM.It is hoped that the results of this experiment will be helpful to the cultivation of students' creativity and the improvement of their scientific quality. At the same time, they can provide specific practical examples for the reform of the science curriculum in primary schools in China, and provide theoretical and practical references for the follow-up research.
