The transition between pre-school education and primary education is the first educational transition, which is relevent to whole education course. This paper takes kindergarten-school transitions as a perspective. Moreover, the teaching reading in lower grades of prime school is taken as the research field.Through random interviews with kindergarten, primary school teachers and students, and classroom observation,it is found that primary school teachers generally have the following phenomena in reading teaching: pay attention to the cultivation of students' preview habits, pay attention to students' reading aloud, pay attention to the adjustment of students' attention before class and pay attention to parent-child reading. But there are also the following problems that can not be ignored: In the aspect of literacy, the teachers' choice of literacy methods does not match the students' interests and expectations, which leads to high pressure and low interest of pupils' literacy. In the aspect of reading aloud, although teachers attach importance to reading aloud, the ability of reading guidance needs to be improved. In terms of reading materials,Chinese textbooks are mainly used, but extracurricular reading is not emphasized. In terms of reading interest and habits, students' reading interest is low,and their reading habits need to be further developed. In the aspect of reading accumulation, the lack of systematic requirements makes students' accumulation different greatly.According to the research, the main reasons are as follows: on the one hand, the literacy methods chosen by teachers do not match the existing experience needs of students, teachers do not cultivate students' good literacy habits, and teachers do not pay enough attention to individual differences in literacy. On the other hand, teachers are lack of reading skills, teachers are lack of the ability to choose extracurricular reading materials and parents are lack of parent-child reading time.If we want to solve these problems effectively, the teachers of lower grades of prime school should enhance the awareness of kindergarten-school transitions, increase the understanding of kindergarten reading teaching, strengthen the cultivation of the basic reading ability of low grade students, and work together with parents to increase the reading accumulation of primary school students. This paper is divided into five parts. The first part is the introduction. The basis of topic selection, literature review at home and abroad, definition of related concepts, research methods and ideas are included. In the second part, from the perspective of curriculum standards and teaching materials,it compares the differences and connections between kindergarten and primary school teaching reading. In the third part, the research results of teaching reading from the perspective of kindergartenschool transitions are presented. In the fourth part,it analyzes the existing problems and reasons of teaching reading from the perspective of kindergarten-school transitions. In the fifth part, aiming at the problems and reasons found in the research, the improvement strategy of teaching reading is proposed from the perspective of kindergarten-school transitions.
