Science literacy education is the main theme of education in many countries.In2017,China released the Standards for Biology Curriculum of General Senior High Schools,which focuses on cultivating students' core literacy.One of the students' scientific literacy education is to understand the concept of the nature of science.Therefore,developing students' view of the nature of science is conducive to cultivate students' core literacy.The HPS teaching mode is currently recognized by scholars as an educational mode that contains a view of the nature of science.During the teaching process,students are introduced to the history of science,philosophy of science,and the sociology of science,which is conducive to the development of the scientific essence view of students.In this study,some high school students in Hangzhou were selected as the survey object.Two classes in the first grade of senior high school were selected.The selfmade questionnaire on the nature of high school students' biological sciences" was used to conduct pre-tests.According to the survey results,the status of student's views of nature of science was analyzed.The study also took the teachers from different schools of Zhejiang Province as the survey objects,and the status of teachers' views on the nature of science was also analyzed based on the survey results.With the concept of HPS education contains the concept of nature of science,as well as the adaptation of HPS teaching model,the three sections of the "Molecules and Cells(Compulsory One)" of Zhejiang Science Edition are selected,viz."cell membrane flow mosaic model","enzyme" and "photosynthesis".Instructional design and teaching practice during the internship process.The senior one(8)class is used as an experimental class,and the senior one(10)class is used as a control class.The control class was used the traditional teaching mode,and the experimental class uses the HPS teaching mode.At the end of the semester,the same questionnaire was used to change the order of the questions for post-testing.According to the survey results,the impact of biology teaching in the HPS teaching mode on students' views on the nature of science is analyzed.The results are mainly as follows :(1)The survey results showed that the level of teachers' view of the nature of science is high,and they have a high degree of understanding of various dimensions of the view of the nature of science.In terms of teaching,teachers will first complete teaching tasks,and then further consider the concept of scientific nature education.(2)The test before the survey found that the experimental classes in comparative classes in the nature of scientific knowledge,and there was no significant difference between two dimensions and the nature of scientific exploration.The essence of the scientific enterprise both significant difference,and that in comparative classes in the score of each dimension are better than the experimental classes.(3)Taking the HPS teaching mode,measuring the results of the survey found that in comparative classes and experimental classes is no significant difference in the nature of science at last semester.The experimental class in the nature of the scientific enterprise this dimension of performance from the point of view of the mean and standard deviation are improved.(4)According to the research results,Suggestions are as follows: HPS teaching mode is adopted for teaching,and corresponding adjustments are made according to the teaching content.To improve teachers' ' HPS quality,raise the level of teachers' view on the nature of science,clarify the connotation and significance of the concept of scientific essence,We will strengthen the training of in-service and pre-service teachers on the concept of scientific nature.
