The rapid development of mobile communication devices such as mobile phones and computers has led to the acceleration of media convergence."Image" refers to every picture, every picture and every frame that can be captured by people's eyes. The process of image reading can be understood as the process of reading a picture.Visual attention will be generated along with the process of reading a picture.Explore different frame balance condition of college students' visual attention behavior become the focus of this study, with the help of eye movement device can catch people's eye movements,as the research provides a scientific and accurate reference data,to choose college students as the research object is to study the situation, both considering the convenience, experiments and refer to the representative of the group. The purpose of this study is to verify the existence of certain visual attention features under different picture balance through eye movement experiments,so as to explore the relationship between direction and gravity in the picture and visual attention behavior. The main contents of the study include the following four parts:The first part is to explain the research perspective and main content. As enthusiastic "huggers" in image reading,it is worth exploring in the field of education to study the visual attention behavior of college students when they read images. From the perspective of picture balance, through eye movement experiments, the author explores the connection between the lines in the picture, the relationship between left and right sides, top and bottom gravity and the visual attention behavior of college students,so as to help resource developers to design educational and teaching resources reasonably. The second part is the design and development of eye movement experiment. The experimental design mainly includes the production of materials, evaluation and screening, the preparation of experimental procedures and the recruitment of experimental subjects, etc.Through the experience summary of the preliminary experiment, the formal experimental scheme is finally established. There are three groups of experiments. The first group of experiments is to verify whether the lines in the picture have an impact on the visual attention behavior. If so,whether the impact is shown as a certain guiding role, and whether the reading process will stay in the transition area of the lines. The second and third experiments were to verify whether the reading order and attention distribution would change when the left and right gravity and the top and bottom gravity were greater than, less than and equal to,respectively, that is,whether the trajectory of visual attention and hot spotswould change correspondingly. The third part is the collation and analysis of experimental data.A total of 45subjects' data were collected in the experiment, which was mainly used to verify whether the hypothesis was valid by such indicators as fixation duration, number of fixation points, fixation order and number of jumps.Firstly, the data with low eyeball capture rate were eliminated, then the data that met the requirements were sorted and conditionally screened by Excel, and the data were analyzed by variance analysis and descriptive statistical analysis by SPSS.The results of data analysis show that the relationship between picture balance and visual attention behavior is mainly reflected in two aspects: on the one hand, lines in the picture will affect the trajectory of visual attention, visual attention is used to follow the guidance of lines, and the guidance effect of curves(excluding circles and spirals)is better than that of straight lines. In addition, the circle's influence on visual attention behavior is reflected in people's habit of reading in the clockwise direction of the circle.About gravity,on the other hand, the picture will affect the relationship between visual attention hot spot, when images are physical balance(left gravity = right gravity)and visual balance(left gravity > right gravity),attention will be evenly distributed around the two areas, when images are in a state of imbalance(left gravity < right gravity),will be more attention in gravity on one side of the distribution. In addition, the experimental data also revealed that the change of the top/bottom gravity relationship in the picture did not affect the visual attention behavior.Visual attention always moved from the top down and paid more attention to the top area. The fourth part is the application of the experimental results.According to the conclusion of the experiment, three implications can be drawn: first, the line can be used as an important line guiding element in the design of resources;Second,by adjusting the relationship between the left and right gravity of the picture, important information can be effectively highlighted.Thirdly,in the picture of top and bottom structure, the content should be arranged from top to bottom according to the visual habit. These rules can provide guidance for the development of resources in the field of education and make the design of resources reasonable. As a common behavior in people's study, work and life, visual attention behavior occurs in various situations.Studying the law of visual attention in educational context is a valuable exploration in the field of education."People-oriented","the student main body" the teaching idea, the core is to respect students, this is,of course, also including respecting the rule of students' vision,to explore the rule, and use these rules in the resources development, will develop more accord with students' cognitive learning resources,so as to more effectively help learners to learn.
