The Relationship Between Dominant Narcissists And Recessive Narcissists And Pro-social Behavior

Pro-social behavior refers to those behaviors that are accepted and appreciated by the society in which they live.It is the behavior that individuals abide by social norms and get the affirmation of social norms and conform to the expectations of the public.Pro-social behavior can enhance individual self-esteem,promote the realization of individual self-satisfaction,promote individual interpersonal adaptation and harmony,as well as reinforce interpersonal communication.At the same time,pro-social behavior is the driving force for the development of social public welfare,a symbol of personal responsibility,but also the foundation for the construction and development of our harmonious society,which can further promote the realization of the Chinese dream.It can be said that the expression of individual pro-social behavior is the foundation and epitome of a harmonious society in which people expect the world to serve the common good and live in good faith.Hence,it is of great practical significance to explore it.Narcissism as highly focus on self and self-centered common a diversified and comprehensive stable personality traits,previous studies have shown that narcissism has different types,and different types of narcissistic individuals,there is an obvious difference between the different performance of found that proves the necessity of multidimensional perspective of narcissism augur well for different types of narcissistic individuals may have different pro-social behavior.Studies have found that although narcissists lack the motivation to help others,their pro-social behavior varies with different types of narcissists in different situations.For example,there is a certain increase in pro-social behavior of narcissists in public Settings in order to maintain their image.In other words,different environments can affect individual behaviors.Therefore,based on the realistic background of the construction of harmonious society,this paper studies the influence of self-loss and success/failure feedback situational experience on the pro-social behaviors of narcissists.In this paper,the research object is in the crucial stage of socialization,complex relationships and pressure environment of college students,through the questionnaire survey to different situations,study take a selection of 72 college students from the huajin campus of Anhui normal university,using a narcissistic questionnaire and pro-social behavior scale,discusses the narcissism and that the relationship between pro-social behavior.On this basis,72 college students from the zheshan campus of Anhui normal university were selected in the second study to explore the pro-social behaviors of explicit narcissism and implicit narcissism under different self-depletion conditions from the perspective of their own resource depletion status.In the third study,108 college students from Wannan medical college were selected to explore from the perspective of situational experience,and to investigate the changes of prosocial behavior of college students with different types of narcissism under the two situational experiences of success and failure.The results of this study are as follows:(1)the pro-social behaviors of different types of narcissists are different,and the score of pro-social behaviors of implicit narcissists is significantly lower than that of explicit narcissists.(2)the pro-social behavior was also affected by self-loss,that is,the pro-social behavior score of the participants in the loss-free group was significantly higher than that of the participants in the loss-free group,indicating that the loss condition caused the decline of the narcissists' pro-social behavior.(3)pro-social behavior was affected by situational experience,and the score of pro-social behavior in the successful situation was significantly higher than that in the failed situation.Moreover,under the condition of successful experience,the total score of pro-social behavior of both explicit narcissists and implicit narcissists is higher than that of the failure experience,which indicates that the successful situation is easy to stimulate the pro-social behavior of narcissists,especially the pro-social behavior of implicit narcissists.
