Due to the limitations of the current conditions,how to develop the practical ability of geography in accordance with local conditions,innovate with time,and with different people has become a problem for geography educators."Maker learning" is a new learning ecology developed in recent years.Based on the exploration of the "four works" model of "creation,production,operation,cooperation",it is conducive to the cultivation of creativity,ability to design,and hands-on,A new age student who loves to share."Maker learning" can optimize the process of cultivating geographic practical ability,learn geographic knowledge and enhance the basic literacy of geography in creation.There are three research methods in this article.First of all,using the literature analysis method,I collected 168 Maker-related literatures on HowNet.Through a lot of reading and analysis,I defined the relevant concepts of "Maker-based Learning".From the perspective of psychology,the relevant theories of "Maker Learning" are analyzed to provide a theoretical basis for the implementation of "Maker Learning".Then,using the questionnaire survey method,I made a specific understanding of the applicatio n of "Maker Learning" in high school.By sorting and analyzing the questionnaire,I discussed the problems and reasons faced by the teachers and students in the promotion of "Maker Learning" to provide training strategies.reference.In addition,through the case teaching method,the reasonable methods and corresponding teaching modes developed by "Maker Learning" are explored to provide references for geographers.Finally,review the entire research process of this article,find out many imperfections in the research,put forward the specific content that needs to continue research in the future,and clarify the direction of action for continuing research.The purpose of this article is to explore the application of "Maker Learning" to cultivate the practical ability of geography,so that the cultivation of geographic practical ability has a new perspective.This is a collision between the concept of "creative learning" and the teaching of disciplines,and the sparks will be incorporated into the prairie trend of the development of national innovation education.
