In recent years,with the continuous promotion of the mode of elective education,the internal motivation of students' learning has become the focus of attention.The author has been working in the front line of biology teaching in senior high school for a long time,perplexed by the fact that students do not want to learn,and pay close attention to this problem.In order to help this kind of students learn better and provide reference for biology teachers in similar schools to solve the same problems,thi s paper takes Nanchong S Middle School as the research object,under the guidance of Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory,combined with biology teaching practice.This paper probes into how to stimulate the internal motivation of senior high school students in biology learning.The main contents are as follows:1.This paper defines the concept of learning internal motivation,briefly describes the differences between it and learning internal drive,learning motivation and learning interest,and summarizes the current research status of learning internal motivation at home and abroad.2.Based on Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory,a questionnaire was designed to investigate the current situation of biology learning internal motivation of science students in three grades of S Middle School in Nanchong,and this paper analyzes the internal motivation of students' biology learning from four aspects: school,grade,different teachers of the same grade and different classes of the same teacher.3.A class in the first year of senior high school is used as a practical class to stimulate students' internal motivation in learning.The practice is carried out from four aspects: strengthening home-school management,optimizing teaching methods,setting short-term goals and enriching extracurricular activities.The following conclusions are drawn from the study:1.Teachers should stimulate the internal motivation of senior high school students' biology learning and improve teaching efficiency,which should be based on the development of students themselves.Through this study,it is proved that,in order to meet students' biology learning needs,according to Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory,it is feasible to stimulate students' internal motivation in biology learning on the following six levels: physiological needs,safety needs,attribution needs,respect needs,self-realization needs and self-transcendence needs.On the basis of a large number of lower levels of satisfaction to fully meet the needs of the higher level,which can better improve the internal motivation of students' biology learning.2.The survey data show that the students of S Middle School in Nanchong City do not have a large number of satisfaction levels among the six demand levels,Among them,safety demand,belonging demand and respect demand are basically satisfied,while physiological demand,self-realization demand and self-transcendence demand are unmet,indicating that the students' internal motivation in biology learning is insufficient,and teachers need to improve their work to enhance the internal motivation of students' learning.The results of data analysis at three levels of different grades,different teachers of the same grade and different classes of the same teacher show that the satisfaction of students at different levels of needs is different,and there are significant differences among the students of the three grades in the levels of physiological needs and safety needs,and there are extremely significant differences in the levels of respect needs and self-realization needs,and there are significant differences in the level of physiological needs of students in different classes taught by different teachers in the same grade.There are extremely significant differences in the level of respect for needs,and there are extremely significant differences in the level of physiological needs of students in different classes taught by the same teacher.Therefore,when biology teaching management and teachers carry out teaching work at different levels,they should analyze the specific data before taking corresponding improvement measures,so as to effectively solve the problems in biology teaching.3.Practice research shows that biology teachers analyze the internal motivation of students in specific classes and find out the unmet items from the survey items of students' learning needs for teaching improvement,which is an important way to effectively improve teachers' teaching quality.It is hoped that this study can provide a reference for more biology education practitioners to carry out teaching work.
