“Life between heaven and earth,if Baiju gap,suddenly.” Life is short,life is only once for everyone,no one can hurt themselves and others' lives;the existence of life is the foundation of all activities,everyone should awe and respect the lives of themselves and others.Life education is intended to help people treat life better and make life more valuable,which is extremely important for individuals and society.However,Life education in China is still in its infancy.While achieving certain results,there are still problems that cannot be ignored.Correctly recognizing the existing problems,analyzing the reasons behind,and seeking for solutions are of positive significance to the development of Life education in China.At present,the utilitarian education also underlines the serious problems of Life education.Examination-oriented education promotes a qualitative leap in students' knowledge reserves,but it does not answer students' confusion about life,making them in a state of weak life awareness and lack of understanding of life value.Life is the foundation of personal development and social development;life also is the physiological basis of value pursuit and social dedication,so it is important to pay attention to student' life education.At present,due to the low degree of attention to life education,no complete system has been formed.In the implementation process of Life education,inevitably schools may fall into some misunderstandings.Therefore,this research is based on practice,investigates the misunderstandings of school Life education,analyzes the reasons behind it,explores its solutions to problems,and provides some suggestions and help for further school Life education.This study traces the source of life from a historical perspective;sorting out ideas of life in the Chinese traditional culture,Western philosophy and Marxist,and summarizes and reflects on contemporary Chinese and Western Life education theories.Then this study thinks about the value and significance of current Life education:establishing the concept of cherishing life;training the consciousness of life equality;pursuing the spirit of self-realization,which constitute the theoretical basis of this paper.Then,the three schools in Y city were used as the survey object through questionnaire and interview methods.Questionnaire and interview are consisted of the understanding for life,the process of Life education,contents of Life education,and implementation effects of Life education.Questionnaire surveys were conducted on students,and some teachers were interviewed.The survey found that the misunderstandings in cognition and practice of the current school Life Education.The misunderstandings in cognition are connotation of Life Education and the relation of Life Education and quality-oriented education or moral education;the misunderstandings in practice are the disconnection of the content of Life Education,the formalization of the educational process,and the insufficient participation force of life education.The reasons behind these misunderstandings are mainly the positioning deviation of life education,the deficiency of school itself,the weakening of traditional culture and the neglect of society or family for Life Education.Based on investigation and analysis,to get rid of the misunderstanding of Life Education,this study insists on humanization by culture:enriching the essence of life with traditional culture;all-round education: leading Life Education with a holistic view of life;integration: improving the effectiveness of life education in schools as a whole;multiple cooperation: promoting the three-dimensional implementation of life education with home,school and society.
