Education in ethnic regions is an important part of Chinese education.The vocational education in ethnic regions plays an important role in the economic development of ethnic regions.At present,there is a tendency in Chinese vocational education research field to be biased towards practice rather than theory.The academic field tends to focus on applied research rather than the basic theoretical issues of vocational education,especially the vocational education theories in ethnic regions.The study of vocational education policies is beneficial to the healthy and sustainable development of vocational education in ethnic regions.This work is divided into four parts:The first part introduces the research background and significance of the topic selection and defines the relevant concepts.Based on the analysis and synthesis of the previous relevant literature,the main research methods used in this research are introduced.The second part is the selection of vocational education policy documents and analysis framework construction in ethnic regions.The author has sorted out the of vocational education policies in ethnic regions since the Chinese economic reform.An analysis frame for the documents of policies in ethnic regions is constructed and the relevant contents of the analysis frame has been explained.The third part analyzes the external attributes and the content of the vocational education policy documents in ethnic regions.The external attribute analysis includes the analysis of the main part of the policy,the annual distribution of the policy,and the type of the policy documents.The analysis of the content in policy documents is mainly based on the Policy Tool Theory Development,unit coding of policy text content,and analyzing of policy tool use from X and Y dimensions.In the fourth part,based on the analysis of the policy documents,we draw relevant conclusions from policy subjects,policy types,and policy contents,etc.,and put forward suggestions for optimizing vocational education policies in ethnic regions.
