The new round of basic education reform requires students to master the core quality and concept of the discipline.The core concept of geography is a superior concept with strong command and extensive explanatory power,which is the node of the knowledge system of geography.Comprehensive thinking refers to people's thinking mode and ability of using comprehensive viewpoint to understand geographical environment.The core concept of geography can construct the system of geographical knowledge,which can urge students to connect related knowledge and analyze problems comprehensively;the knowledge system based on the core concept of geography not only has the level,but also has the correlation between the same level of knowledge,which can cultivate students to analyze problems from the Perspective of mutual connection;the teaching theme of each lesson often corresponds to the core concept To decompose a concept or a general concept,the theme can combine multi factor analysis thinking and interrelated thinking to form a comprehensive cognition of the thing,that is,holistic thinking.Therefore,it is of great significance to cultivate comprehensive thinking based on geographical core concepts.Based on the literature review,this paper summarizes the research trends of the core concepts of geography and the comprehensive thinking of geography.On this basis,based on the questionnaire survey and the analysis of test questions,this paper investigates the current situation of the teaching of the core concepts of geography and the comprehensive thinking of Geography in Senior high school,and analyzes the existing problems.Then,according to the mechanism of cultivating comprehensive thinking of geographical core concepts,this paper puts forward the teaching mode of cultivating comprehensive thinking based on geographical core concepts,discusses the teaching steps in detail,and puts forward the teaching strategies.In the end,the teaching practice of regional geography content is carried out.After class,the teaching effectof cultivating comprehensive thinking mode based on the core concept of geography is understood through interviews between teachers and students,and the teaching reflection is carried out based on the interview results.The conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)Through the analysis of the survey results of the questionnaire and the test questions,it is found that there are some problems in the teaching of the core concepts of geography and the cultivation of the comprehensive thinking of Geography in senior high school at present:the mastery of the students' comprehensive thinking ability and the core concepts needs to be improved,the teachers' understanding of the comprehensive thinking and the core concepts of geography and the implementation of teaching need to be strengthened,and the cultivation mode of the comprehensive thinking is relatively simple.(2)According to the mechanism of cultivating comprehensive thinking based on geographical core concepts,this paper puts forward a teaching mode of cultivating comprehensive thinking based on geographical core concepts: firstly,teachers sort out the knowledge system of specific teaching contents based on geographical core concepts;secondly,they teach specific geographical facts;finally,they guide students to connect scattered knowledge to build a knowledge system and summarize the general principles Theory and analysis methods.The teaching steps include the establishment of core concepts,the construction of knowledge system,the design of teaching activities,and the cultivation of comprehensive thinking.(3)According to the objective requirements of cultivating students' comprehensive thinking of Geography,this paper puts forward some optimization strategies,such as establishing comprehensive thinking consciousness and cultivating comprehensive thinking independently;skillfully using knowledge network map and strengthening knowledge system;clarifying analysis thinking and cultivating overall cognition;paying attention to case teaching and strengthening thinking guidance;paying attention to knowledge transfer and improving comprehensive thinking quality.(4)Feedback results of classroom practice teaching: the teachingbased on core concept organization has the characteristics of strong teaching content structure,emphasis on induction of general principles and methods,attention to thinking guidance,etc.,which can effectively cultivate students' comprehensive thinking.However,some problems are also found in the classroom practice teaching,such as the capacity of classroom teaching content based on the core concept of geography is too large,and students' enthusiasm for learning is not high.In view of these problems,we can improve it by designing teaching content reasonably and using interesting teaching method.
