With the rapid development of society and economy,and the enrichment of material fortune,there have been some overemphasizing individual interests.Their egoism,selfishness,and indifference to others have resulted in the weakening of their awareness of gratitude and lack of grateful behaviors.As the main learning site for students,the school is not only a place for knowledge impartment but also a place to help students cultivate favorable behaviors,and guide them to establish a correct outlook on life,values and world,and to form a healthy personality.Gratitude education is the purpose of arousing students' awareness of gratitude,leading them to build the concept of gratitude,and promoting them to external the concept of gratitude into the specific behaviors to be grateful to others and to do something for others.History is an important basic course of middle school,which not only attaches great importance to the impartment of history knowledge,but should also combine the education of knowledge,abilities,ideas,emotions and concepts together.The teaching content of History not only contains a great variety of gratitude educational resources,but also undertakes the responsibility of providing immersive gratitude education for students.On the basis of referring to research findings of gratitude education at home and abroad,this paper combines various gratitude educational resources of History to analyze how to integrate gratitude education in History teaching.Generally,this paper consists of five sections:Section 1 expounds on the reason for research topic selection,research significance,and research status at home and abroad.Section 2 combines the definition of “gratitude” and “gratitude education” by scholars at home and abroad to expound on these two concepts,respectively.And Thanksgiving education content in the junior middle school history teaching is discussed.Section 3 points out the necessity of strengthening gratitude education considering the weakening of the concept of “gratitude” and lack of grateful behaviors,instructional role of History as a basic subject,inclusion of rich gratitude educational resources inHistory,and the necessity of carrying forward the fine traditional culture of the Chinese nation,respectively.Section 4 expounds on shortages of immersing gratitude education in History teaching from the perspective of the digging of gratitude educational resources from the textbook,emphasis of History teaching on gratitude immersion,and students' psychological identity with gratitude education,respectively.Section 5 discusses how to immerse gratitude education in middle school History teaching in four aspects,including lead by example subtly influence students,digging of gratitude educational materials from the textbook before the class,use of appropriate teaching methods and assignment settings in class,and organization of extracurricular activities to extend gratitude education before the class.Section 6 discusses the problems that should be paid attention to in the infiltration of Thanksgiving education in history teaching from four aspects: advancing with The Times,moderate infiltration,combining students' reality and cooperating with other disciplines.
