Objective: The purpose is to understand the impact of sports on the prosocial behavior of middle school students.Based on the self-control resource theory and the positive construction theory of positive emotions,introduced two psychological variables:ego depletion and positive emotions,to establish a relationship model between sports,prosocial behavior of middle school students,ego depletion and positive emotions.The relationship model explores the role of self-depletion and positive emotions in sports and prosocial behavior.Methods: The research used a questionnaire survey,using prosocial behavior propensity scale,physical activity rating scale,self-control scale and positive emotion scale as research tools,and distributed 520 questionnaires in a middle school and a high school in Tangshan City.Measure prosocial behavior,sports,positive emotions and ego depletion separately.Use SPSS22.0 and Process3.3 plug-ins to analyze and process the data.Results: The research results show that the prosocial behavior level and sports level of middle school students are at a medium level,and the development situation is basically good;There is a significant correlation between sports,prosocial behavior,ego depletion and positive emotions of middle school students.Prosocial behavior and positive emotions arepositively correlated,and ego depletion is significantly negatively correlated with sports,prosocial behavior and positive emotions;after an analysis of mediation effects,it is found that ego depletion and positive emotions in sports The intermediary effect between behaviors is significant,and the chain intermediary effect of ego depletion and positive emotions is also significant.Conclusion: Sports can not only directly affect prosocial behavior,but also indirectly affect prosocial behavior through chain intermediary effects that affect positive emotions and ego depletion.It can be seen from this that continuing to pay attention to the development and research in the field of sports,emphasizing that families,schools and society should pay attention to the cultivation of prosocial behavior of middle school students and focus on the active role of sports.
