Nowadays,in the context of the new curriculum reform, persuasion education is still an important teaching method adopted in the school's ideological and moral education. Its purpose is to allow students to form correct attitudes and values on things,or to change students' incorrect Attitude and follow the correct behavior. However, changes in people's attitudes do not necessarily lead to changes in behavior. The latest "different words and deeds" meta-analysis results found that a larger change in attitude will only cause a smaller change in behavior.Recent research has found that when people are in a state of ego depletion, they are more likely to show "different words and deeds".This result has done a lot of research in the fields of environment or consumer psychology, but few studies focus on the "different words and deeds" of the student group, especially high school students at an important stage of life. The development of high school students' self-control is relatively mature.Self-control plays a vital role in the self-management and effective control of their psychology, physiology, and behavior of high school students during this period. It is a necessary condition and basic for high school students to form a good personality. It is important to ensure that a correct outlook on life and values are formed at this stage. Therefore,it is necessary to explore the influence of ego depletion on the attitude and follow-up behavior of high school students. In addition, the source credibility is also a factor that influences the attitude and follow-up behavior of high school students and is closely related to ego depletion. Therefore,we designed two experiments.Experiment 1 used the four-color Color Stroop paradigm to explore the effect of ego depletion on high school ecology and subsequent behavior,as well as the role of ego depletion in the attitude prediction behavior of high school students. The results found that(1)Compared with the control group, the ego depletion group had lower attitude scores on sugar.(2)Ego depletion played a regulatory role in the prediction of behavior of high school ecology. The attitude of the subjects in the control group was consistent with the follow-up behavior, while the attitude of the subjects in the ego depletion group was consistent with the follow-up behavior.Experiment 2 manipulated the credibility of information sources to explore the impact of ego depletion and source credibility on high school ecology and follow-up behavior, and among the ego depleted group of high school students, the credibility of information sources plays a role in their attitude prediction behavior. The results found that(1)Ego depletion and source credibility are the factors that influence attitudes. The participants in the control group scored less on sugar attitudes under the condition of high credibility of information sources.(2)The source credibility plays a role in regulating the behavior prediction of the ego depletion high school students, and the attitude of the ego depletion high school students under the credibility of the information source can predict the subsequent behavior. Conclusions: 1.Ego depleted high school students are more easily persuaded.2.Ego depletion played a moderating role in high school students' attitude prediction on subsequent behavior prediction.3.Ego depletion and source credibility are influencing factors of high school students' attitude.Participants in the control group are more easily persuaded under the condition of high information source credibility.4.The source credibility plays a moderating role in the prediction of the behavior of the ego depleting individual.5.The attitude-behavior gap of ego depleted individuals conforms to the Habit-behavior model.
