A Research Of Lu Shiyi's School Education Thought

Lu Shiyi is a neo Confucianist in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasty.He inherited Zhu Xi's Neo Confucianist thought,emphasized the practical study of Confucian classics,advocated the cultivation of talents,and formed a more systematic school education thought.In view of the current problems of school education,he advocated the cultivation of talents useful to the society based on practical thought and school education.He advocated the teaching concept of "internal saints and external kings",including teaching in practice and learning in interest,established the school,school management,teacher selection and student assessment methods,established a set of teaching content system to promote the comprehensive development of students,and formed a teaching method based on the guidance of circumstances and gradual progress.Lu Shiyi's emphasis on the role of teachers and the cultivation of students' aesthetic taste has certain enlightenment for today's education.
