Pedagogical Content Knowledge abbreviated as PCK.And PCK theory is the knowledge that the teacher converts the existing subject knowledge into the representation in a way that the students can easily understand during teaching.The instructional design is a planned arrangement of classroom teaching activities,which can directly reflect the teacher's concept in education,as well as in teaching.Improve the design of chemistry teaching under the guidance of PCK theory can make it easier for students to understand and accept the knowledge,thus promoting the efficiency in chemistry teaching and the professional development of teachers.Through analysis,the author selected three main methods in conducting the research,that is,literature research method,the case study method and the interview method.Firstly,the literature research method was applied to study a large number of relevant literature from the China Knowledge Network(CNKI)general database and the full-text database of VIP journals.Then,the author carefully analyzes the literature to understand the meaning of PCK theory and the application of PCK theory in teaching design at home and abroad.On the basis of the existing research of previous authors,the author summarizes the constituent elements of PCK.The PCK theory in the discipline of chemistry is composed of five dimensions,including the knowledge of the objectives,chemistry curriculum,students,chemistry teaching strategies and evaluation.And in combination with the actual situation of teaching design,PCK has four characteristics: individuality,practicality,integration and transformation.Based on the constituent “elements” of PCK theory,the author designs an interview,and conducts the interview of chemistry teachers at the school where the author finished her internship about their knowledge of the “elements” in junior high school that is related to the five dimensions in PCK theory.Furthermore,by drawing on chemistry teachers' understanding of “elements” instructional design in junior high school and the basis of previous research,together with the author's understanding of PCK theory,the author is able to formulate instructional design of the“ elements” in junior high school.In the end,suggestions and reflections on the improvement of PCK of teachers are made to address the problems in teaching design.Therefore,the teaching design of chemistry teching under the guidance of PCK theoryis hoped to provide some enlightening suggestions and thinking for the teaching design of chemistry teachers.
