After entering high school,many students find it difficult to adapt to the requirements of mathematics courses and have difficulties in learning,which is represented by declining interest in learning,disordered learning strategies and lack of inductive and reflective ability.Mathematics self-regulation learning involves mathematics learning motivation,learning management,learning strategies,consolidation and reflection,and is closely related to the learning difficulties of high school students.However,teachers often do not pay much attention to guiding the development and improvement of students' self-regulated learning ability.Mathematics self-regulation learning is a kind of ability,which regulates the mathematics learning activities of learners,and it is the way and method that learners use cognitive regulation and motivational strategies to select suitable methods for learners' mathematics learning,so as to construct a process that can promote their own mathematics learning.The improvement of mathematics self-regulation learning ability can help students to develop mathematics learning activities more actively and effectively,so as to improve mathematics performance.This study aims to understand the characteristics and current situation of mathematics self-regulation learning of senior high school students through questionnaire survey and interview.This research mainly adopts the methods of literature research,questionnaire survey,thinking aloud and interview.First,on the basis of consulting a large number of literature,combining with the current situation of mathematics learning of senior high school students,after listening to the Suggestions of experts and scholars and mathematics teachers from two senior high schools,the preliminary questionnaire was obtained,and the preliminary questionnaire was tested.Spss20.0software was used for statistical analysis.Based on this,the preliminary questionnaire was modified and improved.The paper also makes a test of the preliminary questionnaire,which proves that it is reasonable to divide the contents of the questionnaire into four factors.The Cronbach's coefficient value and KMO value were found to be 0.865 and 0.824 respectively,which indicated that the questionnaire on mathematics self-regulation learning of senior high school students met the basic requirements of the study and was used as the formal questionnaire for this study.In order to explore the status quo and characteristics of higher mathematics self-regulation learning,using questionnaire to urban and rural areas two schools more than six hundred senior students for measuring,in order to understand the whole situation of higher mathematics self-regulation learning and the characteristics,gender,and primary subject for four factors and the differences of their scores,the mid-term exam achievement for four factors and the differences of their scores,etc.After the questionnaire survey,in order to verify the results of the questionnaire survey,two students from two schools were selected and further tracked by using the method of thinking aloud and interview.Through the above research,the following conclusions are drawn:First,as a whole,the current self-regulated learning ability of high school students in mathematics is at a medium level and needs to be improved.Among them,the level of learning motivation is relatively high,and the level of consolidating reflection is relatively low.Second,as a whole,students have different levels of self-regulated learning in mathematics due to different schools.Third,overall,boys have a higher level of self-regulated learning in mathematics than girls.However,in terms of learning motivation,although there is no significant difference between boys and girls,girls do perform slightly better than boys.Fourth,because the first grade at the time of the survey has not been divided into liberal arts and sciences,the subject items here are psychological pre-selection for students.(Pre-selection)Science students' math self-regulated learning level is significantly higher than(pre-selection)liberal arts students.Fifth,students with good academic performance have higher self-regulated learning levels than students with poor academic performance.Sixth,it was found in the interview that external social approval has a significant impact on students' motivation to learn.According to the above conclusions,the following teaching Suggestions are summarized: first,among the problems found in this investigation,the problems of consolidation and reflection are especially obvious,so teachers should focus on cultivating students' consolidation and reflection ability,and at the same time,they should not ignore the cultivation of the other three factors.Second,each school has its own characteristics,school to school can share their own teaching characteristics,improve mathematics teaching ideas,mutual help andmutual training to improve students' mathematics self-regulated learning level.Thirdly,students should be encouraged to communicate with each other in mathematics.The cognitive structure is very complex,and everyone has different understandings of mathematics.It is very important to learn from each other and verify each other.Fourth,pay attention to the study of learning strategies,learning management control.Fifth,the teaching of students has never been just the work of the school,teachers,family and society are also responsible,should encourage students,at least in the study of motivation,will have a good response.The shortcomings of this study are as follows: first,among the urban and rural schools studied in this study,although both schools are model high schools,urban schools have the best source of students in the city,and the quality of students inevitably brings interference to our judgment on the education and teaching status of the two schools.Second,the object of this survey is the students from two urban and rural schools in one place.The survey scope has certain limitations.Whether the survey results are applicable to more developed or backward areas still needs to be further verified.Thirdly,the research objects of the method of thinking aloud and interview are limited,the time for follow-up research is insufficient,and the selection of samples cannot be strictly representative.
