With the improvement of social and economic level, people have higher expectations for social development. On the one hand, the relative lack of economic, cultural and social resources of families of vulnerable groups such as farmers often forms a cumulative effect affecting the next generation, and caused the phenomenon of intergenerational transmission of poverty;on the other hand, young people who have a relatively favourable family background often have a relatively higher status and higher quality of social resources before entering the society,so it is easier for them to obtain a higher social status. Therefore, many young people with poor family backgrounds believe that society lacks basic justice and loses the confidence to work hard to change their own destiny. These problems have aroused widespread concern and discussion in the society. For this reason, many educators and sociologists believe that a more equitable educational resource allocation system should be constructed. In this context,it is necessary to clarify the relationship between the individual's family background, education level and their social class mobility, and it is meaningful to explore the mechanism of influences between the three factors.Considering that the family background is closely related to the children's original class and their future educational achievements, this article mainly takes the family background and the children's education level as the core explanatory variables, and explores its impact on the child's class identity and mobility.Specifically, this article is based on the data of 2015 China General Social Survey(CGSS2015),using descriptive statistical method, multiple linear regression, and logistic regression based on maximum likelihood estimation,in the case of controlling of the individual's gender, age, location, and politics status and other factors,it explores the influence of family background on children's education level, the relationship between people's education level and their class identity, and the impact of people's family background and education level on their social class mobility. The author find that family background has a significant and positive impact on children's education level,in which family cultural capital has the greatest impact on children's education level, that is,the higher the parent's education level, the higher the level of their children's education degree; There is also find that education level has a positive impact on the individual's social class identity. The higher the level of education, the higher the individual's subjective perception of their own social class;in addition, family background and education level can affect the child's class mobility.Based on these findings, this article puts forward policy recommendations such as providing more educational services to vulnerable families, paying more attention to the balanced and reasonable allocation of educational resources, and building a fairer class mobility system.
