Abstract/Summary:
The marathon event can present the urban style and landscape in a short time.High-quality marathon events can not only enhance the city's image and brand,but also encourage residents to actively participate in sports and develop healthy living habits.Therefore,in recent years,marathon events have set off waves of hosting all over the country.Unlike other large-scale comprehensive events,marathon events provide service-oriented sports products,which have higher requirements for staff and volunteers.However,with the rapid development of the competition,problems such as the unreasonable structure of the volunteer group,a single recruitment channel,and the lack of the main body of supervision and evaluation were quickly presented.This requires us to correctly understand the development of the current marathon and its existing problems,implement relevant support and guidance policies,and actively explore the construction of a reasonable volunteer training and development path.On the basis of learning and researching the existing results,this study combines the volunteer organization management experience of major events at home and abroad,and takes the volunteer organization management of major marathon events in Suzhou as the research object,using motivation theory and energy-based management theory.And 4R crisis management theory,from the perspectives of sociology,sports management,sports economics,and human resources,respectively,research and analyze the volunteer organization and management of the Suzhou Marathon.The aim is to promote the theoretical and practical research of mass competitions in our country to continuously innovate and alleviate the current theoretical development needs of the Suzhou Marathon.First,it analyzes and studies the marathon,the organization and management of marathon volunteers,and the organization and management process of marathon volunteers.The organization and management of marathon volunteers is detailed into recruitment,training,configuration,incentives,Rights protection,supervision and evaluation and severance.Secondly,the field analysis method was used to participate in the organization and management of the large-scale marathon in Suzhou,and information was collected for volunteers and volunteer managers through questionnaires and interviews.Finally,based on the analysis results,the optimization path of the organization and management of volunteers in the Suzhou Marathon was constructed,and development suggestions were made,and the following conclusions were reached:(1)There is an imbalance in the gender ratio,education level and occupational composition of the volunteer group of Suzhou Marathon.(2)The current organization and management of volunteers in the Suzhou Marathon has limited recruitment channels,a single training method,ambiguous job divisions,irrational incentive structures,limited attention to rights and interests,lack of supervision and evaluation,and volunteers.Departures are arbitrary.(3)The current development of volunteers in the Suzhou Marathon has the strong support of the government,some events have rich organizational management experience,and stable volunteer reserve resources.However,there are also unregulated management structures,obvious administrative features,and Development difficulties such as insufficient sustainable development capacity.(4)Aiming at the problems and dilemmas in the development of volunteers in the Suzhou Marathon,the development path can be constructed from the seven links of recruitment,training,deployment,incentives,rights protection,supervision and evaluation and severance of volunteers.(5)The sustainable development of Suzhou Marathon volunteers can be promoted through sound volunteer service guarantees,adjustment of government functions,promotion of volunteer service awareness,and promotion of social awareness of volunteers.
