| Before and after Malaysia's independence in 1957,in order to defend the Chinese education, the local Chinese got involved and protested against the government in many ways so that they could obtain the right of reserve education in china. With this, they were able to establish independent Chinese middle schools.Malaysian middle school students are free to choose to study in the government's national middle school or the independent Chinese middle school established by the Chinese society. The college entrance examination of these two kinds of schools is the Malaysia Certificate of Education and Unified Examination Certificate(UEC).Some independent middle school students in Malaysia implement the two track system, which means they have to take part in the two college entrance examinations in senior two and senior three respectively and they must use three kinds of media languages in the examinations:Malay,Chinese and English. Therefore, these middle school students should learn and master these three languages at the same time in the middle school stage. This paper aims to explore the problems and difficulties encountered by students in the process of trilingual learning. In this study, students in senior two of Foon Yew High School in Malaysia are taken as the research objects, using the research method of questionnaire and interview, trying to discuss this problem from the following aspects:1.The problems and difficulties of students in learning Chinese;2.The influence of learning environment and their own interests on learning;3.The attitude and views of students themselves on learning trilingual. It is found that at present, trilingual learners are faced with various learning difficulties such as anxiety and especially they seriously lack of learning motivation and language and literature cultivation.According to the interviews and research of teachers and students, the paper puts forward some corresponding suggestions and countermeasures. |
