Research On The Education Of Chinese Classic Reading In Trilingual Schools Of Indonesia

Ethnic Chinese schools of Indonesia has a history of reading the Four Books and Five Classics. In the middle of 20th century, Ethnic Chinese schools were closed because of political reasons and Chinese education was prohibited.In the year of 2000,the ban was lifted. Trilingual schools are springing up in most of large cities of Indonesia and the education of Chinese classic reading is rapidly expanding.By attending the activities of Chinese classic reading, the author is aware of the importance and the urgency of popularizing Chinese classic reading and puts forward new tactics and implementation plan.The education of Chinese classic reading need the support and spending by the nation and society. The author put forward tactics that the development of the education of Chinese classic reading lies on the support of the government and the investigation of Confucian businessman. On popularizing Chinese classic reading, the author put forward short-term planning, medium-term plan and long-term plan.On implementation plan , the author put forward curriculum design of the education of Chinese classic reading in trilingual schools in Indonesia and gives concrete suggestions on the content and teaching method.
