Giving birth to children is a must-have for most people.Children bring fun to our lives and increase the burdenof life. With the liberalization of the comprehensive second-child policy, more and more families choose to have a second child or even three children. In the current fierce competition in the labor market, the change in the number of children will have a greater impact on family income.Costs require more labor, but they also reduce labor because of caring for children.Since women often play the role of taking care of their families and taking care of their children in society, women may spend more time and energy on taking care of their children than men. Therefore, the increase in the number of children, the labor participation rate and career development of women And the impact of wage levels may be much greater than men.The gender wage gap is often focused on the study of female labor force, exploring the impact of gender factors on wages,in order to achieve fair and reasonable wages for men and women, promote the equality of men and women in social status and the sustainability of economic development. The influence of the number of children on women's labor participation rate and career development has caused widespread concern, and the influence of the number of children on family income is also worth exploring. Is it motivation or pressure?Based on the theory of gender wage difference, the theory of human capital, the theory of labor market segmentation, the theory of labor market discrimination, the theory of family fertility and the determinants of the number of children bom, this paper uses the survey data of CHIP2002,2007and2013,using the OLS model and The estimation method of the quantile regression model attempts to contact the difference between the number of children and the gender wage, explore the influence of the number of children on the gender wage difference, make recommendations for family income decision-making and energy distribution;and deeply understand the socio-economic impact of the comprehensive two-child policy,Give full play to the positive role of the comprehensive two-child policy and avoid the negative impact of providing empirical evidence.Based on the analysis of theory and practice, the following conclusions are given according to the results of this study:the influence of the number of children on labor wages is negative and shows a trend of increasing year by year:the growth of children's number has a greater impact on women than men,but the rate of change is higher than that of men.Women;the influence of the number of children on the gender wage difference shows an expanding trend, but the rate of change is narrowing;the results of the quantile regression show that, from the time dimension, the increase in the number of children is different from the gender wage level at each income quantile level.Has an expanded impact. However, the higher the income level, the lower the impact of the number of children on labor wages, and the smaller the gender wage difference.Based on the above conclusions, this paper proposes to provide family policies that support the labor supply offamilies with multiple children by fornulating and improving relevant laws and regulations, such as extending maternity leave, giving birth allowances, protecting the reproductive rights of female employees, and encouraging enterprises to establish "family-friendly"."Enterprises";improve the child care system, and improve the parental inlfrastructUre in the public area;increase the full-time protection of full-time mothers, affirm their contribution to the family;the most important thing is that the higher the income level, the more the influence of the number of children on the gender wage difference Small, should increase the labor force human capital stock, and thus raise the wage level.Such a reduction in the impact of multiplechildren ongender wages will also promote the implementation of the two-child policy.
