Orienteering is a physical and intellectual exercise.Orienteering not only requires athletes to have certain physical ability,but also requires athletes to have certain decision-making and judgment ability such as map reading and route finding,as well as faster and more accurate special cognitive skills.The special cognitive skills of orienteers are to quickly identify the information on the orienteering map and make route planning,and make decisions in the shortest time.In the shortest time to make a decision,time pressure arises at the right moment,orienteers in the game orienteering map is often affected by the time pressure.Time perception is an important resource and situational factor for orienteers to quickly and accurately conduct visual search on the orienteering map.The process of directional map recognition is the process of cognition and decision of each orienteer.The cognitive process is reflected in the search and memory of the information points of the orienteering map,and the decision-making process is reflected in the planning and selection of the optimal route of the orienteering map in the shortest time.At present,there is no systematic research and scientific explanation on the influence of time pressure on the cognition and decision-making of sports,so it is very important to study the visual search characteristics of the map information recognition and route planning of orienteers at different levels under the time pressure.The directional map recognition is not only a test of the detailed search between the checkpoints of orienteers,but also a test of the overall grasp of the complete map information.So this research mainly with accurate knowledge chart of two checkpoints and complete orientation game map as experiment material,with high level group,sports professional and ordinary as sports level variables,respectively,in the absence of time pressure and time of two different situations by using the method of eye movement record in the process of the experiment was carried out on the independent variables corresponding control.Analyzing the characteristic of differentlevels of visual search,contrast under time pressure effect and no time pressure effect under different horizontal directional change rule of eye movement,and to record high levels of visual search features,can be used as a scientific training and selection of evaluation index,expanding the area of sports cognition and decision research at the same time.Main conclusions of this study:(1)Under no time pressure,orienteers have different map recognition strategies,visual search behavior characteristics and eye movement characteristics for accurate and complete map recognition.Under no time pressure,the high level players show the characteristics of short response time,high accuracy,simple and quick eye movement.Under no time pressure,the high level players showed the characteristics of long response time,high accuracy,high degree of information processing and wide eye movement.(2)Under time pressure,orienteers have different strategies for accurate map recognition and complete map recognition,and their visual search behavior characteristics and visual search eye movement characteristics are different.Compared with no time pressure,the high level group showed the visual search characteristics of shorter response time,higher accuracy,concise eye movement,and larger information search range.The high level players showed the characteristics of short response time,high accuracy,stable and efficient information search degree and high information search breadth.(3)Time pressure can,to a certain extent,promote accurate map reading and complete map reading visual information search breadth of orienteers and improve search performance.Time pressure effect should be reasonably used in daily training and study to promote orienteers' actual combat ability.
