A Study On The School Life Of Rural Children

The problems of the survival and development of rural children are both education and social problems.The report of the 19 th CPC National Congress made it clear that promote the integrated development of compulsory education in urban and rural areas,attach great importance to compulsory education in rural areas,and strive to ensure that every child can enjoy a fair and quality education.The education of rural children,a huge group,involves the nerve of hundreds of millions of farmers' families,and concerns the social harmony and stability,as well as whether the education process is fair or not.Therefore,it is an inevitable choice to pay attention to the school life of rural children.Based on the rural schools familiar to the author,this paper chooses Q primary school as the sample school,focuses on the Class one,Grade 3 of Q primary school,and adopts narrative method on the basis of observation and experience in nearly a semester,mainly describes and analyzes the school life of rural children in the aspects of students' classroom study life,inter-class activities and school activities.The research shows that the rural school education resources are increasingly rich,and the overall school living environment of children has been greatly improved.The main problems are as follows: There is a tendency of examination-oriented in curriculum offering,which is divorced from the reality of children's life;In classroom teaching,children's right to speak is lacking,and students' subjectivity is ignored;There is a serious lack of campus cultural activities,and the improvement of students' comprehensive quality is limited;The assessment and evaluation system,which emphasizes the achievement and neglects the teaching,makes the quality education vanish.In view of the above problems,the corresponding improvement strategies are put forward: Paying attention to children,especially in rural areas;Serving children,liberating children;Developing children and achieving children.
