Regional Urbanization Quality,Distribution Of Human Capital And Economic Growth Under The Perspective Of Spatial Linkage

The economic growth rate decreased in China after the country entered the new normal epoch,before that time,the economic growth rate has always been high since reforming and opening up.The decreased growth may be related to the low level of human capital,and the low level of human capital may be related to the quality of urbanization.To analysis the above assumptions and empirical,based on the overview of urbanization quality affect the distribution of human capital,human capital distribution,in turn,affects the economic growth,on the basis of relevant theories,such as in 2005-2017 China regional urbanization quality and distribution of human capital and economic growth pattern of statistical analysis,found that all the three present three features: there is a gap between different regions and the gap is the long-term characteristic,significant spatial correlation.Since the quality of urbanization,the distribution of human capital and the pattern of economic growth in China have similar characteristics found by statistical analysis,can urbanization quality be used to explain the distribution of human capital and then the distribution of human capital be used to explain economic growth? Firstly,this paper applies the spatial panel model to make a regression of the provincial data from 2005 to 2017,and finds that the improvement of urbanization quality is conducive to the improvement of human capital level,while the improvement of human capital level is conducive to the promotion of economic growth.In other words,urbanization quality is conducive to economic growth through human capital level.First,improving the quality of regional urbanization is helpful to improve the level of human capital(regional urbanization quality,every 1% increase human capital increased by 0.628%),the spillover effects of the use of adjacent area urbanization quality,but also improve the level of the regional human capital,on average,a region adjacent region urbanization quality every 1% increase,the human capital of the region increased by 0.382%);Secondly,the improvement of human capital level is conducive to economic growth.For every 1% increase in regional human capital,the economic growth increases by 0.431%.For every 1% increase in the human capital of a neighboring region,the economicof that region increases by 0.156 percentage points.And due to the regional human capital to economic growth is likely to be nonlinear,then using threshold regression model,this paper studied the spatial association under the perspective of regional human capital's impact on regional economic growth and the threshold effect,found that the regional human capital on regional economic growth threshold is 2.254,namely when the fixed number of year of the law are influenced by education is less than 9.526 years,demonstrate the education duration of every 1% growth,and economic growth of 1.107%;when the number of years of education per worker is higher than 9.526,every 1% increase in the number of years of education per worker is associated with 1.162% regional economic growth.Through the study on the quality of regional urbanization,human capital distribution and economic growth in China,the following policy implications can be obtained :(1)Improving the quality of regional urbanization can improve the level of human capital;while improving the level of human capital can promote economic growth.In other words,the quality of regional urbanization can be improved to improve the level of human capital,thus promoting economic growth.(2)Since the improvement of urbanization quality is conducive to attracting the inflow of human capital,it can be considered to establish a social security system conducive to the flow of human capital.(3)As the flow of human capital between regions is conducive to the growth of the overall economy,the labor market that is conducive to the flow of human capital should be improved.(4)Since secondary and higher education plays a greater role in economic growth(which is also consistent with the characteristics of the knowledge economy era),on the basis of improving the basic compulsory education,regional higher education investment should be increased to promote the stable growth of the region in the knowledge economy era.
