For teachers,history textbook is a medium to teach.And for students,it is a medium to learn history knowledge.Therefore,the compilation of history textbooks reflects the national position and the requirements of the times.On the basis of previous curriculum reforms,the new junior high school history textbook,which was compiled by the Ministry of education and published by the People's Education Press in 2018,was widely used in the whole country in September 2019.Compared with the old textbooks,There are some changes in the background,structure and main contents of the new edition of the World History textbooks for the first semester of grade nine.As the result of the eighth curriculum reform,the textbook published in 2018 is the inheritance and innovation of the textbook published in 2007.Therefore,it emphasizes the education function of the history discipline.Besides,it is also the product of continuing to promote quality education in the new era and implementing the idea of "Building Morality and cultivating people".In addition,it is the result of the guidance of the new curriculum standards published in 2011.From the structure of the textbooks,the text system and text assistant system of the two versions have their own characteristics in structural design.In accordance to the versions published in 2018,it is more scientific and humanized.With a combination of points and lines,it is more practical,which may help students to understand the development of the history clearly.From the main contents of the two versions of textbooks from two aspects: the addition and deletion of specific knowledge points and the evaluation of historical facts.In accordance to the versions published in 2018,it stands on the time sequence in the selection of specific knowledge points.Based on the students' life,it not onlyselects historical events,but also handles the evaluation of historical facts more scientifically and reasonably.In general,the textbook published in 2018 has many advantages,such as combining ideological and scientific nature,standing on time sequence,keeping pace with the times,outstanding function of "learning based",rigorous expression,and so on.However,it has the disadvantages of low interest and neglect of extracurricular reading guidance.Therefore,When using the new edition of textbooks,teachers should understand the compiled intention of the textbooks,clarify the teaching direction.At the same time,teachers should grasp the knowledge system of textbooks,condense the teaching idea.Moreover,the teachers should be familiar with the structure system of textbooks,selecte the teaching methods meticulously.Furthermore,the teachers should combine relevant teaching materials,optimize the teaching design,etc.In a word,history teachers need to combine the actual teaching situation,so as to form a method of textbook use that is suitable for teaching and learning.
